Wlad was 41 and hadn't fought for almost 2 years. Let's see where these current guys are at at that age.
Wlad hit Joshua so hard that he got back up and fought on. Clearly that was the hardest puncher he fought. Meanwhile feather fisted Andy Ruiz couldn't make a dent, and especially that cruiserweight Usyk who never had AJ wobbled in the fight especially in the 3rd and end of the 12th round.
Man, why are you so underrating Usyk's power? He broke one Bodybuilder's eyesocket. At a certain point of the fight Joshua said he couldnt see anything. Ain't enough in your opinion? Besides Usyk's strategy was not to KO Joshua. If he had wanted he would have done that.
Was this ever confirmed to be broken. Google has nothing on it beyond "suspected," and it seemed fine a few days later when the swelling went down. There are a few LDBC channels saying it was broken...but then again, I wouldn't trust BoxingEgo with the time of day
Klitschko may have hit Joshua the hardest in his own words but Ruiz hit him hard enough to drop him 4 times and make him quit !
I don't get the controversy. Wlad is one of the hardest punchers of all time. Would it surprise anyone if Tyson said Ruddock hit harder than Douglas? If Holy said Lewis hit harder than Toney?
After watching his knockdown at the hands of Klitschko, it's hard to disagree with Joshua's hazy recollection. This content is protected
He was knocking guys out left and right with short left hooks before switching to his safety first style.
