Hopefully Campbell Mendy will be on. Will take a huge improvement from Campbell to beat him. He literally looked like a boy v a man last time. I hope he can do it.

 

no but Hearn said he's announcing new signings this week, Fowler and Buatsi's contracsts with GB have just ran out, so I'm expecting it to be them two.

 

Think that loss did him the world of good mate and as daft has it sounds, is just what he needed.

I wish promoters/fighters weren't so precious about their zeros/loss record. It can sometimes take a number of losses before a fighter finds the right formula for themselves.

 

I agree mate. It's also great to see him not shy in trying to avenge that loss. I just think it wasn't skill that lost him it. Mendy just looked so much stronger and was literally walking through Campbell's punches.

As you say though, new formula with a new trainer could see him box rings around Mendy as Campbell is the far superior boxer and needs to use his speed to his advantage.

I'm really not feeling this Katie Taylor hype, they are pushing it far too much, it's not interesting to me, she isn't in competitive fights and I couldn't care less.

I'd rather watch some southern area title fight that's competitive instead of Taylor bashing up some overmatched woman while Adam Smith, Johnny Nelson and the rest cream their pants and repeat the words exceptional, world class and superstar.

 

Hosea Burton seems to think there's a chance of a Buglioni rematch on the 29th. Would be made up with that.
