Fury fought Klitschko and Wilder as the underdog. Klitschko was clear #1 and Wilder was in contention for #1 at the time.

Joshua has NEVER been the underdog.

Joshua has only fought 1 of the best though if we're being brutally honest.

Usyk, Fury and Wilder are the top 4 in the division. He's fought 1 of them and lost.

This is the new AJ. He seems terrified of getting knocked out. Every good punch bothered him and would stop any momentum he had going. I don’t recall seeing this earlier in his career. Usyk is also far from a KO puncher at heavy but I thought he either stun or hurt AJ a few times and those weren’t haymaker type punches. AJ is now trying to be the boxer instead of the banger at this stage in his career. It doesn’t look well.

All that extra weight turns into baggage when the opponent won't let you set your feet to throw. Like a elephant in clown shoes trying to swat a fly...

I guess you missed Furys fights with chisora
You know the guy that gave vitali and Haye decent fights
The guy that really beat whyte first time out
The guy that arguably beat Parker
    The guy that beat Takam
The guy that gave Usyk a better run than Aj

Fury absolutely embarrassed and schooled Delboy fighting southpaw and it looked like sparring

Fury also beat Wlad away from home, the guy that hadn't tasted defeat in 10 years

Laugh at Wilder all you want, but beating him in the states is much better than getting smashed by a fat man away from home

I grant you that Aj has fought more better opponents, but Fury absolutely has the higher tier wins and hasn't been embarrassed like Aj twice

This is what I don't get the Joshua hate, I agree he looked like horse **** this fight and Usyk has certainly gained a fan but who else is fighting the best of the best at the top level at heavyweight?

I didn’t say it was Joshua’s fault but now you mention it Joshua told Wilder he’d fight him for 50 million, the offer was sent to Matchroom and they ignored it. Eddie said there was no proof of funds, then Barry dropped them in it later on Twitter when he posted after Fury was robbed and drew with Wilder that was why they never accepted the offer from Wilders team. Fury has beat 2 long reigning established Champions on there own home ground,Joshua never has .

Joshua was lean to be honest and he did try to fight from range in which failed.

You know Steve Collins once said that anyone can be beaten with the right strategy, but in this case with AJ, I don't know what he can do in a potential rematch with Usyk.

Agreed. If he bulks up for a rematch, sets his feet and lets his hands go early... he's still going to miss but tire more quickly. And he now knows Usyk can hurt him which will inhibit him further. There's a timeline here: Wlad showed him he could be hurt, Ruiz showed him he could be hurt and stopped, and since then he's boxed like a fighter who knows this. Reinventing himself as a boxer/puncher was fine for the likes of Parker and Pulev, but Usyk is simply too good technically.

What's left is either a puncher who won't let his hands go or a mover who gasses...

Wilder ducked AJ and all Fury wants to do is have easy fights with wilder

Fury was not even 23 before he fought 27.5 year old Chisora for the British title. Chisora was the favourite, as was Wlad (massive favourite) and Wilder x2 (marginal favourite). Fury's been the underdog 4 times, AJ's never been close (bookies gave Wlad a 30% chance at best).

AJ is a top lad. Deserves massive respect for taking on all 40 year old challengers as a 4-1 favorite. Really keeping the division going.

Months ago i thought Joshua would vacate the belt and not face Usyk. Now you see why that was a popular thought. Credit to him facing Usyk when he could have fought a lesser fighter to keep the Fury fight "baking," for sure.
