For the record Andre Ward is not a world champion and he's fought outside his home state a lower % of times than Joe Calzaghe fought outside his own country :hi: Plus Joshua has fought outside England. Ward has never fought outside USA.
I think this could "potentially" be a dangerous fight for AJ. Martin might be a bit unproven, but he's a tall southpaw with some pop. It won't go the distance either way. :bbb
Mayweather didn't have to.. He was the top dawg after he beat Oscar.. What's Flanagans, Smith, AJ, BJS ECT...... What's their excuse?
BS.... I've been to 2 Ward fights... one was at soboba casino in san jacinto california, the other was at morongo casino in cabazon ca. You're full of **** and obviously new to the sport of boxing! And the thought of Ward being a world champion again has you shaking in your boots huh bumsniff
You would have to favour Joshua given his amateur credentials and him having home advantage. He looks the better fighter of the two on tape too. Both of them are flawed though and they're both huge guys who carry big power so it might just come down to who lands first or who has the better chin. I haven't seen much of Martin at all and his opposition has been dire so it's difficult to get a gauge on how good he is. He has looked sloppy in some of the footage I've seen of him. That said, that southpaw left hand of his looks dangerous so Joshua will have to be very mindful of that at all times.
