He's his own worst enemy. The inactivity is just one reason, the other is he turns fans off with his approach.

He's unwilling to say the right things to build fights. Fans want fighters they can root for and follow not enigma's who you have to 2nd guess everything they say. A normal fighter will say "Yes I'm going to kick Kovalev's ass" but Ward in the last interview I saw said something like "If the fight happens". How can a fan go yeah maybe go kick his ass?

Anyone wanting to learn how not to promote themselves should just follow Ward' example. I like him as a fighter, will root for him against Barrera but damn does he test your patience as a fan.

Love how you always bring up Froch /Groves what you think groves is some kind of special None of them in terms of skill are as good as Ward and none will be as great as he is but I applaud the UK they support boxing and give credit where credit is due but let's not act like all the two guys who performed in front of 80 k could even hang with Ward but again another weak attempt at trolling from you no surprise here !
