Part of the reason the Whyte fight sold so many ppv was the card was decent. I really don't see Martin getting as many buys.

think the card itself could suffer now that hes fighting for a world title to be honest

nonsense, the casuals absolutely adore Joshua, him now fighting for a "world title" will only get them more excited, make no mistake this ppv will do big numbers

Eubank Jr, Bellew.. not a draw then? And Whyte was a good turf fight, Martin offers nothing but a fraud belt. No chance this does as much PPV.

The casuals who only went to my local about 40 of em just to watch Joshua V Whyte will love this.. World champion etc etc.. He has that cross over appeal I can see this doing well on PPV Sky will up the sound bytes and by fight night these two will be mortal enemies who want to beat each other to death with sticks

  11. If you think an Olympic gold medalist in the HW division whom is loved by casuals does less buys in a world title fight you are making an idiot of yourself.

I don't think there'd be a single person who agrees with you.

He admitted as much in an iFL interview yesterday. I think the best we can hope for in Bellew in a ten rounder.

I don't think the undercard makes a difference to casuals, all they wanna see is joshua, chances are they won't of heard half of the undercard.

i have to be honest, the fact there isnt much of a under card is the deciding factor why i'm not going to attempt to get tickets on thursday.

I went to AJ Vs Whyte and the night was an absolute belter, i also went to the May 30th Card..

Ive got tickets for Quigg Vs frampton and the whole lack of undercard really puts a downer on it for me, it just means lots of waiting around watching turgid boxing then a main event.
