"My mind was not fully on Ruiz but partly on the fight for the undisputed title against Deontay Wilder which was due next. But now we have this massive rematch and I will train differently for Andy. This time I will be ready to unleash the beast."

Let's see him unleash this beast. It's been gone since Klitschko and I'd like to see a good fight before Ruiz KOs him again.

Whatever it takes to get his confidence back.

    Mind of Wilder
    Concussed during sparring
    Interruption in training
    Anxiety attacks

    Wilder in his head.

He’s basically saying Deontay is the one who beat him. Without ever setting foot in the ring.

    THAT is true heavyweight power.

He is lucky he did not face Wilder because the Search party would be still looking for his head somewhere in the Atlantic.....

AJ also mentioned in the JD Sports video today that the Wilder fight 2 weeks prior i which Wilder KO'd Breazeale in 1 rounds was on his mind, and then in 2nd round against Ruiz the crowd was booing. Although, he did'nt knot it at the time, they were actually booing a fight that had broken out in the crowd and not booing him. He believed he needed an early spectacular KO and this was his undoing.

This does make sense to me and I understand where he is coming from. Although, he still looked strange in the build up to the fight and in between rounds from the very first bell.

The bodybuilder might just get that shot at that shiny green belt, if the blob destroys him a second time. Don't give up hope Anthony, the bomb squad might just give you that golden opportunity once you suffer another serious beating. Lol.

    Losers make excuses.

    Winners adjust.

    It has always been so.

It probably was but it's still not an excuse.

If Wilder was knocked down four times and stopped by late sub Andy Ruiz, and his excuse for the loss was he was thinking about a future Joshua fight (that wasn't next), the thread on this board tearing Wilder a new one would be 100 pages long.

Wilder was in his head ... and they weren't even scheduled to fight next. I have no idea what Joshua meant by that.

Joshua is mentally weak. And he's a sucker for a left hook. Unless the titles get split, I don't know if he has another reign.
