He was shook everytime Ruiz landed Do you deny that? For your information I didn't say Ruiz would definitely win I have a short post history, so please point to my post saying Ruiz easily? Aj did win and moved well? But do you honestly think that is enough to beat Wilder/Fury? But who have they fought? They have fought each other and are bout to again Joshua might have a slightly deeper resume of top 5/10 wins, but he has never stepped up like Wilder or Fury, who are willing to face each other Whyte, parker or Ruiz don't cut it Wilder gets sh1t for old man Ortiz Old Ortiz is better than anyone on Ajs resume bar old Wlad and to Wilders credit, he got him out of there twice! You can label me a hater, fine. But you my friend are the definition of a fanboy and I guarantee Aj won't beat Wilder or Fury He doesn't even want to fight them lol
Fury suffered a bad cut and still won comfortably. Wilder got thoroughly outboxed by the insanely overrated and now very old - even if you believe him to be 40 - Ortiz. That fight showed me he hasn't learned anything since the Fury fight and will be thoroughly outboxed again.
I'm a Brit and would take AJ and Fury (who has already beat Wilder but, got screwed over in the States, Surprise, surprise) over the bean pole gobshite Wilder any day. Wilder has beaten Ortizn't and lost to Fury, that's it, nothing more to add in 5 years as champion. No unification fights and I can count the number of top 10 opponents on my thumbs. When he finally takes a chance on greatness, I may sit up and take notice and with regard to the rematch with Fury on the 22nd of Feb, there's been no presser, no announcement about the venue, maybe it's going to be a private viewing for Al and Bob to try and bring about a friendship.
You're a Brit, hardly surprising you are biased I'm Irish myself, so maybe I'm slightly biased to Fury But regardless, I guarantee both guys not only beat Aj, but both stop him He can't hold a shot anymore He was terrified everytime Ruiz landed How will he cope when Wilder lands? He will be having seizures on the canvas
Even if you think that's true Ortiz is clearly nothing on Old Wlad who was a proven top tier ATG talent and so Joshua's best win is easily better than Wilder's and his resume over 5/10 fighters is too. I get why people don't like Joshua. He comes across as very manufactured and the media hype machine pumped him up. But, to slate him for what he's done thus far and hitch yourself to the Wilder bandwagon because you don't like him is lunacy. The guy is considerably older with a longer career and an olympic medal of his own and he still hasn't achieved anything like what Joshua has as a pro.
His legs buckled twice last night and he was wide eyed? Honestly am I wrong? Even his cheerleading sky team mentioned he was shaky He won't take wilder's right hand if they fight His only chance is to go into Wilder early and get him out of there But I doubt that Aj exists now We now have another Wlad, but with less I.q and discipline, so unlike wlad will not go 10 years unbeaten, even with fast Eddies help What did you think of the ref last night? Done a good job didn't he of protecting...... Sorry stopping inside fighting Jab, grab, move, repeat Jab, grab, move, repeat Repeat Repeat Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Is it over? Who won, I fell over?
Wilder has fought fury and will likely again Better guy than anyone on that manufactured Robots resume
Wilder robbed Fury, taking that fight on the understanding that Fury was skint and there to cash out. That fight wouldn't of been made otherwise. I'm sick of people pushing this nonsensical narrative that Wilder suddenly wants hard fights when his actions still say the opposite. Watch him call for the Whyte fight now he looked like a useless sack of ****. The guy has no shame in his game.
Let me share a little story with you. I work with a guy that has a 67 Chevy Nova. The car has over 700hp, does the quarter mile in under 10 seconds. So one day I asked to race him for pink slips. I have 2016 Colorado. He smiled and said he could use a good little truck. I replied, we'll race off road in the dirt. He laughed and replied my tires would never hook up. The point of the story is, never fight to your opponents strengths. Always look to find the advantages that support your style. That's what Joshua did. He knew fighting toe to toe with a quicker, hard hitting opponent would not be the best plan for him, so he fought to his own strengths. Can't fault him for that.
What If wilder fights fury next? That's a riskier fight than anyone Aj has ever fought, including old Wlad who Fury beat in Germany Wilder has fought cans, but he is stepping up and he is putting guys to sleep Aj running for his life vs Andy (who was only ranked because he beat Aj) does not bode well for the future If I'm wrong, I will accept it and promise I will come on here and give Aj his due But I honestly think he will fall again soon, unless he is matched well Someone like Dubois isn't far away from decapitating Joshua now He will be put in against non punchers or other fat lumps Whilst wilder will at least fight Fury again
This is hilarious Haha @AdamT in full meltdown over number 1 AJ winning all the belts back ! Settle down dear!
Meh, winning is winning. Boxing isn't all about knockouts and going toe to toe. You box to your strengths and to exploit others weaknesses. Ruizs weakness is his slow feet. He got exposed.
No meltdown brother Just stating facts Guy would make a hell of runner Not only is he running from wilder/fury outside, he is running in the ring too haha
