I think there’s no chance Wilder beats him mate. He’s so basic, he had absolutely no answer and just kept doing the same one-two after every break. It wasn’t even amateur. His power has got him so far but he’s shite actual boxing. Josh Taylor has it spot on here

I disagree. I agreed with Steve Kim who recently gave an interview to IFL (best IFL interview in a long while). Stated that the winner of Fury/Wilder might win be able to beat AJ but AJ clearly has the best resume. In no other divison would they say the guy with 3 of the belts and has beaten 4 of top 10 fighters is the number 2, epesically when the so called number 1 has been fighting lesser opposition and went large period of incativity. I agree with Kim, AJ is resume is being totally disrespected when its clearly the best.

I cant have Wilder anywhere near that high. Look at his resume and how poor his opponents have been. There 12 fighters in the divison I would back against Wilder and atleast 7 with stronger resumes than him.

I'll concede that he has the best list of names. I still think the timing of saod names has been good for AJ. Not even in the sense that they waited for people to get old, just that the fights came at the right stage for him.

You can't put Martin on a list backing up his resume though. Joke fight for a world title.

Same with ruiz, an overweight slob drafted in as an opponent but ended up giving him a pasting. OK he avenged it so fair play, but the rematch was as dull as dishwater and he completely had to change his style for it.

His resume is decent but to be honest I couldn't care less anyway. Resumes aside, fury is number 1. Beat the man, lineal champ (if you believe in it)! Never lost the belts in the ring. Has now held them all. Two time champion of the world. Ring magasine champ. Undefeated.

I beat Ortiz x 2. Ortiz was better wins than anything anybody his rivals have done except maybe Joshua v a faded Klitschko. No other heavyweight has the tools to fight Wilder in the way Fury did.

    Yeah, have to agree.

The debate is over for the time being, Fury number 1.. isn't really a debate now in my opinion.

WBC Champion, I believe he is the first man to win the Heavyweight Ring Magazine title TWICE, might have to be corrected.

Fury has beaten Klitschko who reigned for 10 years, Wilder reigned for 5.

Number 1, it's up to the rest to prove that wrong.

Ortiz only has one notable win which was over 4 years ago. AJ wins over fighters with more impressive reumes than Ortiz include Wlad, Whyte Parker, Povetkin, and Ruiz. Thats 5 wins better than anything Wilder win. Ortiz is Takam and Martin level.

Fury is number 1 - I don’t think anyone will argue after last night.

Fury AJ definitely the fight to make

Taylor does have it spot on, it is a mouthwatering fight. Joshua isn't Fury though, and Wilder can crack that glass.

    That's what makes it such a mouth-watering fight, 50/50.

Problem is Joshua stunk the place out in Saudi last time . After being mauled by Ruiz jnr at the garden he was supposed to put on a classy show of boxing and power in the renatch but he jabbed and ran his way to victory in a boring fight . I mean every time the fat man opened up on him his arse fell out and he ran .if they do fight and it’s a big if fury will dismantle him with ease

Nonsense. Whyte was area level when they fought. Povetkin Klitschko were 40 years of age and had lost alot of their fear. Parker was cheered by ref so couldnt get close. Wilder has fought the best in the division twice something Joshua has never done.

Whyte has gone onto get wins against Parker, Rivas and Chisora twice proving how good of a fighter he is.

Povetkin and Wlads resume speak for themselves. Povetkin was last beaten 5 years prior to the AJ fight only to Wlad. AJ comfortably beat Parker. I had Parker beating Ruiz by 2 points and Takam by 4.

What has Ortiz done to be considered as good a s these guys? A win over Jenning 4 years ago? Looked poor in his fight against Hammer too. The fact the Ortiz is the only notable win for Wilder speaks volumes about his resume (his next best wins are between the likes of Duhaupas, Washington,Szpilka, Stiverne and Brezeale lol).

The funny thing is Tyson Fury is actually the rightful owner of AJ's belts.

I respect AJ, solid resume but his fans need to calm down. They're really clutching at straws here. The wins v Klitschko and Povetkin are very good but after that, it's no better than Wilder or Fury's and Fury's wins over Klitschko and Wilder are better than AJ's best two wins so give it a rest.

Your boy will get his chance v Fury I'm sure. No need to talk desperate nonsenee to prop AJ up before they do meet. Don't forget AJ may lose to Pulev or Usyk before then. His last performance was a scared performance and he now needs to readjust his style once more because he can't run around the ring from the better guys in the division. He'll be clipped!

How is Fury the rightful owner of Joshua's belts? That seems like a mad opinion.
