Is it not possible to like both though? Can't we appreciate both for what they bring to the table and what they do for British boxing? Granted one can like one or favour one more than the other but I like both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. It's a bit like the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo thing in football, one has to be s**t and the other the greatest of all time, you seemingly have to like one or the other.

I'm just grateful that I'm living in a period where the two best heavyweights are both from these shores and a truly massive fight, one of the biggest of all time, could be a year or so away from happening, maybe less.

These are the number 1 and 2 guys in the division. No need to decide who is number 1 right now. Let's just get them to fight and all will be revealed.

Personally I like them both and don't care who wins in a unification. They are both brits and both likeable chaps.

Fury looked great the other night, but AJ isn't wilder. This is a proper fight.

I think Fury has to be number 1 given Wilder's unbeaten record, his own unbeaten record and Joshua's loss to Ruiz.

Having said that there is no certainty esp in the heavyweight division. I thought Wilder would KO Fury in the first fight because he can get hit when he larks about, I thought Wilder would win the 2nd because he was bound to catch him again. I thought Vlad would beat Joshua

    So what do I know...?!

I'd say the bookies have it about right with their odds and Fury would be a good favourite but not overwhelming.

Fury is undeniably the #1. No two ways about it.
