Why not ? If they make the Whyte rematch next, Wembley wouldn’t make sense but would have to be Tottenham. Joshua didn’t get a stoppage last time out and although he would still sell a good number of tickets at an extortionate price, it would be better to go to an arena with more expensive tickets than the Franklin fight. Who said that ??
You haven't listened properly to what Eddie Hearn is saying Eddie Hearn has repeatedly said that AJ vs Whyte II is a stadium fight.
If you need a tune up for Whyte then call time on the thing. Josh has already knocked him stiff, and I would love to see Shyte denied of another big payday. And it makes Hearn deliver on his promises as he's just throwing names out there as a smokescreen. Ruiz/Shyte AJ/Zhang/Joyce winner Usyk/Wilder This is what the division needs now.
Joshua can fight who ever he wants for me, he isnt a champion after all however dont sell it as a PPV if its anyone subpar. AJ said himself that he'd be interested in fighting Whyte but he didnt think the fans wanted to see it. No issue with the fight but dont put it on PPV (It will be though).
Whyte couldn’t get in shape for the biggest fight of his career, that he had been waiting and apparently preparing for for years. I don’t really care about watching him fight again and I definitely don’t see him as a top contender.
Whyte has always been about the money, his career shows you that with the amount of final eliminators he knocked back. Can't knock the hustle though his marketing was top draw.
Joshua v any of his previous opponents serves a sole purpose being fleecing people in the pursuit of money - no thanks. Should he really need another tune up then get in a York Hall Prize Fighter against Wardley, Babic, Whyte, Chisora, Hughie Fury, Frazer Clarke and Adeleye. Big Audley redeemed himself though winning a prize fighter and his confidence would be back. Then he can go on and make good fights in the UK with Dubois, Bakole and Joyce. Should he come through these fights then he is ready to fight for a vacant world title as Usyk and Fury will be long gone.
Didn't Audley win two or three of them? I used to watch him win then think he was guna be world champ again I'll always like that one armed comeback KO of Sprott tho (sorry to sidetrack)
