Look *****, if nothing mattered apart from who brings in the most $$$ for the fight. You would be getting a 95/5 split. Take the deal.

 

Or Parker and Higgins does depending upon your allegiance.

 

Has Eddie Hearn priced his fighter out of the prospect of championship unification matches and spun that protection tactic into a detraction from his would-be opponents' fanbase?

 

I agree with Parkers team, 65-35 split is very fare for a unification fight. Getting sick of these Diva antics.

 

70/30 is fair...

35-Parker is more than he deserves... if they can get it I don’t begrudge them, but I don’t believe that represents what both bring to the table.

This whole I’m not getting on a plane until you move is just an attempt to flush out AJ and Hearn to make what the want.

I think the real problem here is if the do get 35% of everything. Wilder who is arguably a bigger draw than Parker will then be justified in expecting at least 40-45% and that is just ridiculous.

 

ugh just make it 65/35 and get these 2 into the ring. so sick of this sport being about money.. both of them will be millionairs after the fight ffs..

 

If both of these guys held no titles and were just going off their appeal, I would completely understand the split highly in AJ's camp. THIS is not about who the biggest draw is, its about who the champion of the world is. Even though I don't think Wilder and Parker deserve massive paydays vs AJ at this time of their career, I personally think both should get 50/50 split, until 1 champion is crowned.

 

Hearn should just leave it and go down the klitchko mandatories route. At the end of the day Joshua's the biggest name in the division. Selling out stadiums no problem. Also took the big risks in his defence. Taking on klitchko....maybe a tad too early in his career. As well as paying a vast sum of money to martin to take his title off him. Its still a risk from hearn/Joshua...that could have cost hearn money.

Also hearns worked hard to promote Joshua from the start...meanwhile parkers boys done pretty much nothing but make a mess of things same with wilder. These guys should be coming to take Joshua out. Then they can start dictating terms. I d honestly walk away if I was hearn. There' still a hell of a lot of money to be made from Joshua outside these two. Unlike these two.

 

That will never ever happen in boxing for obvious reasons. Did Tito agree to 50/50 when he fought Joppy and Hopkins? Did Holyfield agree to 50/50 when he fought Lewis? When one guy brings more money to the table they are not just going to hand over millions of dollars to get a fight made. Fact is most fighters fight for the money more than the prestige and legacy.

 

That's why title holders SHOULD get 50/50, that's just my own opinion. This 5% which is a sticking point in the Parker vs AJ fight may not make any fight at all, who's to blame for that? Its not team Parker, that's my point.

 

I think its basically parkers team looking for a free ride. He doesn' have a big profile...doesn't sell a lot of tickets. Isn,t the most exciting since he started fighting anyone half decent. Management teams been a bit car crash.

Had close fights against takam, Ruiz and Huey fury.

On the otherhand...Joshua's profiles huge. Sells out stadiums. Is exciting. Management team/pr,s been spot on from the start.

Parkers team lucky to get 20 percent in honesty
...its still a hell of a lot of money. Its down to him to beat Joshua and take his position at the top of the table. Tbf Joshua and hearns worked hard to get that top of the table position.

Boxing' always been that way. No point complaining. Mike Tyson's opponents were,t exactly getting 50/50. May weather's. De la hoya. Even look at that fight...no doubt mayweather took the short money against Dela hoya. Beat him then surpassed him. Down to guys like parker and wilder to do the same.

The balls really in their court. Joshua's been more than fair offering anything above 20 percent.
