Bob Arum just said that he thinks they are very close to a deal at 67%/33%.

    cant see it being whyte

whyte was lackluster v helnius and has found his level

there is no clamour in the uk and it would be a step backward and most importantly seen as a step backward by the public / well thoise with an inkling of boxing knowledge and not just fanboys

So the Higgins comment earlier in the week seems to have been possibly true and Hearn has come up another 1% to try and make the fight.

If this is true then Parker so far has come down 5% from his original demand and Hearn has come up between 13% from the 80/20 split he threw out before negotiations started.

So they are within 2% now of agreeing a split. Lets hope Higgins is willing to come down a bit more to make this fight happen.

Yes. Seems that Higgins has managed to squeeze a few more % by playing hardball, 70/30 was fair in my opinion.

Still, Parker is his only $$$ fighter so I can't blame him for doing what it takes to get a really good deal.

Arum only a matter of hours ago:

“I give Parker a shot with Joshua. Joshua doesn’t have a chin, man,” Arum said.

“Parker, you can hit him with a baseball bat and nothing happens".

“It seems to me with a little tugging and so forth, they can do 2/3 and 1/3 and that’s what I think is going to happen,” Arum said.
