I'm so tired of Pulev, and this fight will suck.

They all seem to have there old favourites to look after IBF with Pulev,WBC with Ortiz and the biggest joke organisation of them all WBA with there 3 current heavyweight champs including old man Charr who hasn't fought since 2017 and of course the mandatory challenger for that belt and biggest old bum of them all 47 year old Oquendo who hasn't fought since he lost almost 6 years ago.

As pointless as this fight is, it will actually guarantee action and entertainment. Looking forward to it.

Grewtvfight. Looking forward to how thebbest fighter in the divison deals with the guy who probably has the best jab in the divison.

It would AJ fifth opponent if he was to beat him that would be a more impressive win than Wilders managed in his whole career so far.

Best fight out of a bad bunch.
Please dont forget AJ threw a bone to a number of fighters including whyte who rejected the fights. 1 man stepped up andy ruiz jnr and won!

why would AJ throw bones to anyone, he took his mandatary to keep the belt. There are so many people on this forum that sound like my father in law. "why doesn't Joshua just fight wilder or fury" such a casual thing to say. There are so many specifics behind the business now.

The Euro football is on june/july this year. England play close to the date and there are some good games on the 20th which would attract the joshua footy fans!

    Great Work to generate money.
Its pointless fighting 3 times if one of them is a stay busy bum!

Fair few were offered the eliminator against him and declined, possibly not fancying their chances in Sofia? Whyte and Miller included from memory before Hughie Fury stepped up. He got a bad cut early on or perhaps he could've been fighting AJ instead.

Pulev is a legitimate contender but Joshua is superior in basically every way.

More athletic, hits harder, younger, faster.

Should be a nice stoppage for Joshua and help him get back some confidence.

I agree. AJ should be fighting ideally in in April or May but against Pulev he will get away with it. Though it means he is unlikely to get in 3 fights this year.

Outside of facing Klitschko, Pulev is undefeated. He has better wins than some ranked ahead of him. Pulev would be Wilder's 2nd or 3rd best opponent, a he's clearly better than Takam, Molina and Breazeale, who were title opponents for Joshua.

The problem here is he's 38 years old. Joshua is fighting too many old guys. Wlad, ( 41 ) Povetkin ( 39 ) and not Pulev ( 38 )

Joshua is 30. Wilder is 34, and will be at least 35 is they meet in the end of 2020. If Joshua waits on the Wilder fight for two years beyond his fight with Pulev, he wont get as much credit.

This is a nothing fight, but it doesn't concern me. Joshua's 2020 will be judged on his *next* fight, which was always going to be the case due to timing. Hopefully it's the winner of this weekend's bout, but obviously that may get scuppered if they have a trilogy. In that case, Joshua needs to fight Usyk or Whyte or even Ortiz, depending on who has the most impressive win the first half of the year.
