Hard for many on this site to believe but boxers do on occasion get injured during training

Um, he's injured, okay? Not entirely sure why all the ovaries are flying around in this thread about it.

As long as he can heal back to 100%, I could care less about this fight getting canceled or postponed if they decided to still go through with it. AJ would have easily beat Johnson.

He'd probably still win even if his back was injured. As long as he just threw more than 2 punches a round he'd comfortably outwork Johnson.

I don't know anything about Joshua really, but while fighters may fake injuries from time to time it is very, very easy to get injured while training in any full-contact martial art. I train in Karate these days and on any given week there is one or two guys on the team who get a small injury in practice. The risk only goes up for professionals who train hard 6 days a week.

If he was scared of Johnson why sign and begin training camp to have fought him in the first place?
