When are they going to put this Joshua fella in there with a savage puncher? :huh

Price didn't even make it to that point as he was KOed twice by Thompson who has a 66% KO rate. And that stat is very misleading as Thompson is an arm puncher and has fought a lot of bums to get those numbers.

Joshua suffered a stress fracture in his back. Team Joshua has requested that the fight gets rescheduled. We have agreed to the rescheduling.

KINGPIN may take a tuneup fight in January or February.

The Joshua vs Johnson fight as of now is tentatively being rescheduled for either March, April or May and will still take place in London.

U can't compare Joshua to Price, Price had been ko'ed multiple times in the amateurs, it was well known he has a glass jaw...

It was more a question of when and not if with Price, no one really knows how Joshua will react when he gets hit cleanly, certainly his amateur career hasent indicated he can't take a punch

Not trying to race bait but serious question: Is it just me or do UK boxers get injured a lot?

Cosmic balance. They have to be a little deficient in some category or another to compensate for having such perfect teeth. :conf

Anyone who claims this to be a duck is a ****ing idiot! Footballers get injured, Rugby players get injured and shockingly Boxers somehow get injured too. Unbelievable right?

Kingpin needs to not take this fight less than Joshua. Kingpin needs a WIN, guy done lost what like 5 in a row? Time to tune up son.

I do like his jab but that is all. Horrible gameplan, never throws enough.

Joshua would be in for a 12 rounder though, that damn Kingpin has an iron jaw.

Come on guys, give him a break. Joshua has pretty much only just turned pro, and has shown himself willing to be matched tough. He may not have beaten top contenders but he is a professional novice at this point - and his willingness to take on tough challenges should not be in question. The very opposite in fact - my fear is they may rush him too much to prevent people questioning his legitimacy a la the criticism Price and Wilder have come in for.

Kingpin is a ****ing tough dude to be taking on so early, and someone in the know has confirmed in this very thread that it's due to a stress fracture. Let's be fair on the youngster!
