AJ thinks his plodding basic jab is going to win him the fight. Nope. Going to start getting tagged unexpectedly just like Fury then WHAM BAM thankyou Madam. The bigger, sexier and stronger man will annihilate the chinny, stamina less bully. AJ has never fought a man who is so much physically stronger. He is going to fold like a LAWNCHAIR.

 

Keep looking past Ngannou, AJ. Please. Can't wait for the post fight breakdown and ranting.

It will be horrifying to watch what Ngannou does to him if he lands the same kind of hit to the temple.

 

There is absolutely zero chance that Joshua faces Usyk for a 3rd time in May NONE. If Fury pulls out, Usyk will take care of his IBF mandatory against Hyrgovic to keep the title.

 

Echoing many here, I'd say in response to the thread title that actually AJ already has a huge fight.... 260 lbs. rock-solid of huge....

 

He shouldn't get the chance to fight Usyk again; he had two chances and fell short. Otherwise it seems they are angling to fight Usyk over and over until father time takes it toll and Joshua wins.

Hrgovic will probably remain without the big fight again because he shows no interest in making one - he's more interested in sitting on his mandatory status and stagnating.

And who can blame him?
He's gotten an awful long way up the rankings without taking known risks - without a fight with a single proven contender at the time he took it (Zhang's resume before Hrgovic was absolutely nothing - not even a gatekeeper on it, it's even generous to say he'd beaten a legit journeyman by that point).

He might be quite good, but for a guy in his prime, he's no more keen to fight anyone decent than Wilder was... And we all know how that story goes.

 

AJ will be doing us all a favour and stopping all this Ngannou nonsense.

 

And AJ fans still think he didn't duck Fury.

Fury offers him over two months to prepare and 60/40 and it's not enough time to be ready, a week isn't enough to prepare the business, and they talk themselves out of it.

Now he's happy to be the emergency fill in because they assume they'll be fighting Usyk and because of the money from the Arabs. At BEST he ducked Fury at the time because they didn't feel confident and were too greedy. It's on them though.

 

No reason to see Usyk school his son AJ again. If Fury ducks bring on Hrgovic or Zhang/Parker winner.

 

I think they will pay Ngannou to take a dive so that people will forget AJ's losses to Usyk, AJ will rebuild his career and become a bigger name. And then he'll fight Usyk or Joshua for the undisputed match.

Ngannou had said by fighting Fury he earned more money than all his UFC fights combined. So he wants that big paycheck from AJ fight.

Thus, Ngannou will lose to AJ on purpose by KO.
