I see there's one shortly. Will both fighters be there? I thought uncertainty remains about the venue? Or is this just undercard fighters?

    Anyone know what's going on?

There was a short one with Hearn and a representative from Saudi Arabia. Nothing too mind blowing - fairly standard stuff.

There will be a press conference 'tour' (ala Mayweather vs McGregor) in Saudi, London and New York early September.

Presumably, IFL will do an interview with Hearn though which should be far more interesting.

Had to turn that off. Couldn't listen to Hearn spouting any more crap. It's in Saudi Arabia because Ruiz wouldn't travel to the UK and they didn't want to give him American advantage + the Saudis have obviously threw a heap of cash at it. There's nothing else to it.

What an amazing talker Hearn is though. He could put a spin on anything. The boy was born to promote but it's all a load of crap.

Surely Ruiz has signed. He may now be regretting it but no way you have press tours organised on 3 continents when one fighter hasn't even signed too fight.

Even by his standards he had to dig deep to try and sell this is one. ‘Boosting the profile of boxing’ is his selling point for this then!

Hearns will sell bags of sand at the event and the Arabs will buy it up
