the luck will be surviving until the final bell and getting a decision from the Hearn Judges! Octopuss jab and grab to kill the clock!!
McCracker in an interview just now, 'He has to control Ruiz, use reach and nullify him up close.' Clinch gameplan confirmed. Wlad was certainly flown in and spent months feeling Joshua up (while teaching him grapple technique). If Joshua has picked up some decent clinching, could be bad news.
If AJ wins then I'd be OK with a 3rd fight, then the winner can fight winner of wilder fury rematch. Assuming that also happens!
You can google "Joshua seeks advice from Klitschko on how to beat Ruiz" it's on several boxing websites etc... The Octopuss Strategy is only way AJ can defeat the BLOB!!
Pretty sure there won't be a third fight unless AJ wins at the weekend in a classic back and forth battle. If Ruiz wins, he's got AJ's number and both will move on. If AJ wins in a boring jab and grab style, they'll be no desire to see it again, and if AJ knocks him out, the narrative will be Ruiz got lucky in the 1st fight and the wrong has been righted. Ruiz will always be a tough match-up for Joshua and the risk/reward of a 3rd encounter is all wrong for him....
