Joshua scorecards are just as bad as Canelo’s

Against Wlad, Joshua was up on the scorecards.

Against Parker the judges were awful. It was a close fight and was probably one or two rounds for Joshua in the end. Good scorers here scored it a draw.

And just now we’ve seen Joshua was up on the cards against Povetkin when the consensus scoring here from the RBR and other threads is 4-2 Povetkin.

Why should someone like Fury or his cousin box Joshua? They would be totally jobbed on the cards. Usyk too.

Such a shame we have this bull**** in boxing.

And surprise surprise Joshua-managed and co-promoted donkey/human hybrid Okolie was given a gift on the undercard.

What do you expect? Canelo and AJ are the biggest cash cows in boxing so the only way to beat them is KO.

I expect nothing less. My post is merely observational, even if it’s stating the obvious.

But on your last point the ref in the Parker fight didn’t even allow any inside fighting which was the only feasible route to a KO for Parker.

Joshua will go down as the most protected fighter in history. At least Canelo was willing to step in with Golovkin. Joshua won’t even give Wilder the opportunity to fight.

Boxing judging needs reform, have 15 judges per championship fight from around the world, not just the 3 ringside having their pockets lined. Both Joshua and Wilder scorecards are despicable, and the commentary from British Sky Sports is so overtly biased you know they are planning to fix the fight if their man is losing.

This is a valid point. Wilder was up against Ortiz just as Joshua was up against Vlad and Povetkin. It's been a problem since the dawn of time.

I pointed out in the RBR that as soon as Povetkin established himself as the dominant fighter ahead on the cards Adam Smith randomly talked about the failed drug test. They will go to any lengths to protect Joshua.

I don't think Joshua is ducking, it's the promoters who are taking the ****. Can't wait till they fight, Joshua cannot risk trying to box Wilder, they will go all guns blazing early on and it will be over inside 5 rounds.
The big advantage Canelo has over Joshua is that Canelo has a A+ chin so he pretty much can't lose, if GGG couldn't knock him out, nobody else will and he will continue getting robberies, Joshua on the other hand can be knocked out even though he has a solid chin, he was hurt about 5-6 times already and Wilder has incredible power.

AJ looked pretty ordinary. His size and power bailed him out.

    Do you ever stop crying?

The fight was practically even beyond rnd 1 which was Povetkin...

povetkin didn't establish anything bc he was eating jabs while MAYBE stealing rnds with power shots...but no one actually dominated until Joshua decided to end it.....

Yep, I noticed this too. They would run down Povetkin saying how tired and beat up his cut look while Adam, Carl and David were having an AJ suckfest, yet it was a clear Povetkin round.

Same thing happened with Parker in the UK too. I don't know what's worse, their incredibly biased commentary or the fact I can here Bellew the whole round screaming from the apron.

maybe there are things they are doing which impresses judges. You cannot always look for deception.

I haven’t seen the Joshua-Povetkin fight yet but I don’t believe the word of anyone on here after Canelo-GGG 2. Canelo clearly won that fight, and guys like Joshua get hated on. I wouldn’t be surprised to have Joshua up easily when I watch the fight, despite everyone here claiming it was a shutout until the stoppage.
