Should Joshua be calling out Fury?

  1. Yes, this is very clear thinking.

  2. No, I am sexually attracted to Deontay Wilder like that Sepiroth idiot.

I get that he wants the last belt. And that is admirable. But I don't think Joshua and his team realize that it just looks bad calling out a guy that 88% of the boxing community thinks lost his last fight handily and should not be a titlist.

Joshua should be calling out linear and uncrowned WBC champ Tyson Fury. It would be a much easier fight to make, it would be on neutral soil, and it would be a fight between the two undeniable best heavies on earth. Wilder is a sideshow, his title is a fraud, and the winner can go snatch up his cracker-jack belt any time.

    Discuss.

He literally can’t win... if he calls out and fights Fury, the narrative is he is ducking wilder and he never wanted to fight him in the first place.

He calls out wilder, and he is ducking fury.

So far he has called them both out the fight ended in a draw and wilder still has the belt sooo he’s making the belt and the champion the priority.

Not only that people have been calling for Josuha/wilder for the last two years.

I prefer the Fury fight but any fight between these 3 is awesome imo.

If AJ becomes undisputed champ, then no-one can avoid him, all roads will lead to him, the thing I`m worried about was the comment AJ made before Wilder met Fury, he said even if Wilder loses he`d still want to fight him because that`s what the public want to see! No idea what he wa trying to say at all.

Hes called them all out, he said he will knock out anybody. But he wants the WBC Belt and Wilder is holding that one hostage at the minute.

Agreed, belts are meaningless, Wilder without the belt is pretty much irrelevant, Fury is the clear biggest threat to Joshua and Joshua/Fury is a fight between the clear number 1 and 2 of the division.

But from a business perspective I can see why he wants Wilder to try and break the US market. But the problem is if Fury beats Wilder next so Joshua should be trying to make the Fury fight first and so Wilder has nowhere else to go for a good payday and strengthening his negotiating position knowing Wilder has no other PPV options.

If AJ wants either of them, he would be making serious offers and it would get done, he’s in the driver’s seat, Both would be good fights, would be happy with either.

Tyson Fury and his Promoter publicly have said 50/50. It's about time the others got realistic.

Should be Fury. Only he prevents Joshua from universal recognition as best heavy. Fury should have the wbc belt anyway in most ppl’s eyes. Plus Anything with Fury in it turns out to be a great promotion. How does Wilder promote a fight where everyone outside of espn feels he lost last fight. He needs to rebuild himself. Fury is a true threat

One of the most stupid things I have read on this forum. Its the challenger who calls out the champ. Fury is the one who should be calling out AJ but he seems to have gone all quiet and cowardly.

Anything public from AJ at this point reads to me as lip gloss for a duck, although I think he’s the favorite against either. Everyone agrees he’s the top dog so I’m not sure why there’s any debate on fighters he’s chosen to avoid.

As a side note, Fury may be the more dangerous fight…It’s hard to look good against him and if he wins, he probably made you look really bad.

If Wilder had wanted to fight Joshua he would have accepted the terms offered and taken the fight to become the unified champion, he complained the offer was too low then went and fought for a lot less. Problem both Joshua and Wilder have is they are both letting pride dictate their actions and both want all the advantages stacked in their favour, which could indicate neither is confident of beating the other.

Fury is being realistic. Joshua is running out of credible opponents and Fury knows it. If Joshua really thinks he can beat Fury he should give Fury the 50%, since he’d be taking Fury off the table for Wilder and would would be back in the driver’s seat in any negotiations with Wilder.

Fury in my opinion is both the most valuable and credible opponent in the division right now for either Wilder and Joshua. This is why Fury is taking his time on deciding to rematch Wilder, since he’s waiting to see if he can get a better offer from Joshua.

If Fury happens to beat Wilder decisively in the rematch I see him wanting more than 50% from Joshua.
