For a long time I have been of the opinion that joshua should not travel for anybody given he is so obviously the top man at heavyweight commercially.

Recently my opinion has shifted as this wilder situation has gotten out of hand. I can't bear to hear this man spouting his gibberish anymore.

If wilders side can offer a guaranteed 50-60 million that doesn't have conditions that conflict with Joshuas current legally binding contracts then joshua should take the deal.

    This fool needs dealing with.

After seeing Fury get robbed, the last thing Joshua should/would do go and fight in the USA.

Maybe Nigeria could be done, akin to the rumble in the jungle. But commercially nothing does better that the UK, possibly a late start like midnight UK time so it is closer to prime time USA too.

Why would he? Not Joshuas biggest fan but he earn 12x more than Wilder does, sells out football stadiums. Why would he travel to US, risking being robbed, losing everything that he has.

Possibly as long as the USA is discarded as one, after the Fury Wilder fight the idea or possibility of the states hosting a title fight at heavy and middleweights should be held with suspect and danger the ABBC does not want to lose the titles to a foreigner under any circumstance even if that fighter fights purely in USA.

With AJ its not so matter a question as should. The question is why should he?. Filling Wembley or the Millenium Stadium is something special and unique to AJ why should AJ travel anywhere and risk it being a flop when you are guaranteeing packed venues? If you are an opponent of AJ you should be loving the idea of almost 100,000 live in seats watching you fight AJ and if you win all the more glory to you.

Would you want to box the champion in some 20,000 seater in the middle of nowhere, or go to the most prestigious stadium in front of everyone and fight there?

I personally think wilder is low risk for Joshua.

This is the only reason I think it is appropriate to travel. I don't think wilder is interested in travelling at this point. He is still convinced the USA is the centre of the universe and cant comprehend the idea that money is generated by other countries.

As long as Joshua's money is guaranteed i think it is worth the small risk to unify the division.

The alternative is to not unify and listen to all the BS.

AJ vs Wilder won't go to the judges scorecards so no one has to worry about getting robbed in the UK or US

You have a point , the thing about travelling is it use to promote boxing worldwide since it was shown on main TV not PPV.

Now with PPV or newer ways with DAZN what is the point in travelling? With travelling you risk alienating your fans who watch in time-zones . Most people have work in the morning so watching a fight at 3AM is a real pain . Since the internet is widely available and most people can watch .

I stand behind the size of the UK boxing fans putting asses in seats at live events which has not slowed down . USA only comes out for title matches even then they cannot sellout , Fury Wilder did not sell out and near half the seats were given away for free. Hell even Chisora Whyte and Parker sold out in the UK with no title fight nor any guarantee of one .

In conclusion I would be be heightening the UK live fights and showing the world that boxing is back (heavyweights) by maintaining the fights in the UK with soccer like atmosphere and respectable time zones. It makes the USA look on in envy and try harder to bring boxing back to the numbers it once had . Moving and travelling at this point in boxing could either do two things either bring it back or make it worse .

Would you want to risk or hold on to what you know ?

I dont think Joshua needs to travel at all. He is making so much money over here and is not really known over there.

I wouldn't mind seeing him travel though as I do like to see fighters out of their comfort zone.

I would say the fact that it's been over a week since the fight and they haven't announced the Gate says it all.

No doubt they comped a lot of tickets. The day of the fight if you looked online there were still plenty to be had.

Not really, for the guy to make a statement like that I would presume he has something to back it up with no?

We can all make up bull**** stats, they say 75% of stats are made up on the spot.

So you don't think if it was sold out and done great numbers at the gate they wouldn't have released some PR?

The gate at the latest should be revealed tomorrow.

The problem is allowing Wilder’s team to take control of the setup. Accepting their offer effectively does this.

Would you like more proof that even PPV sales were utter horse**** for a fight of this magnitude . I find it all rather upsetting as it hurts boxing . I ain't making up any stats . I back up everything I state with facts and logic .
