Why isn't AJ fighting Dilian Whyte after he called him out and bottled it?

Because Jason Gavern, Dustin Nichols, Harold Sconiers and Nicolai Firtha are highly ranked HW's and they could lead Joshua to a world title shot and of course to the PPV fights.:yep

after kevin johnson / anthony joshua should fight 2 more stiffs just to keep active then a top 15 guy ....then a top 10 guy then title shot ....thats how you bring a fighter along / title shot in his 17th pro fight is pretty good ....hell lennox lewis didnt fight razor ruddock until his 22 nd pro fight so i dont know why you guys are crying / in fact lennox lewis fought mike weaver when weaver was so ****ing shot and that was lennox lewis 15th pro fight .....so they are bringing joshua along just fine ...........

Whyte beat his ass like he was a rag doll, he has a 0 and everytime anyone mentions his name to AJ, the mask falls off and he has a tantrum or blocks people on his twitter.

That loss in the amateurs is always going to put a shadow over AJ, until he proves he is the bigger man that Whyte in the ring.

But we know he's happy to be a fraud, tricky the millions around the world into believing that he is the saviour of the HW division by beating cabbies and doormen.

In between the KJs, Tigers, and Dimitrenko types.

Until he wins a major Euro level title, there's no sense in risking him agaisnt other top 10s in their prime.

As for a fight with Whyte....What sense would that make Money-wise.

If Whyte continues to progress, keeps his act together, he could also become a top 10 type, and if theres a belt on the line when they meet, it could end in a 10 mill payday for these guys.:thumbsup

Not a fan but don't dislike Joshua either. It's a tough situation to be in,I think his management have done the right thing putting him in with Johnson as I'm sure they'll want to see how he copes under pressure....personally I would have told him to take it easy tonight against Gavern,he needed 6 rounds to test his own stanima but ended up with half that and looked frustrated.Just my opinion but I wouldn't be over confident of him facing a Charr or Pianeta or other Euro heavies right now.
