No , Wilder voluntarily said he'd except 40% to get the ball rolling. Matchroom have made NO offers. Nothing .

Its on Matchroom the A- Side to come out and offer Wilder a contract and a fight date. Until , they do , Wilder can only keep calling Joshua out.

I think Hearn's strategy where Wilder is concerned is to use the Whyte mandatory as leverage. If Whyte beats Browne and his WBC mandatory status is confirmed then Wilder's options begin to shrink. Matchroom wins any purse bid and Wilder has to travel to the UK, not for the cash-out fight against AJ but for a potentially tricky fight against Whyte.

At this point Matchroom wins either way. If Wilder beats a Brit in his own back yard the Wilder AJ fight becomes much bigger. Especially if in the meantime AJ is beating Big Baby Miller in NY during US primetime. If he loses, there's a chance of AJ facing his local rival and fellow Matchroom boxer for the undisputed title in the culmination of their trilogy.

So its in Hearn's interest for the fight to be delayed. Which again, leaves Wilder and his team with a decision to take. Does he risk mandatory defence becoming an issue? Or does he accept terms and take the AJ fight now. Soon he'll be 33 and AJ will be improving with each fight he takes...

Team bombsquad will freeze AJ out of lucrative boxing markets in Alabama and possibly Mississippi if he doesn't get his act together.

Hearn and Joshua are playing with fire here.

look if your gonna be so niave as to think that when they spoke with each other (and Wilder said he would accept such and such) without Hearn banding something about then this argument is lost on you.

If you wanna be sensible and be open then I will.

No way would someone come out and say they would accept 40% when they dont know what the initial offer would be. Are you saying that Hearn and Wilder have spoken and Wilder said Il take 40% and Hearn said nothing.

Also if you want a fight and want to test yourself you dont then go begging to another promoter to make YOU an offer. You go chasing it yourself and make an offer, as per your post the only team coming close to making an offer or actually have made one is Matchroom and Wilder by your accounts isnt happy with it but hasnt countered it from his team in anyway

Look , neither you nor me know what they talk about behind closed doors , we only know whats been put out there to the public. What you said about Matchroom being the only side to make an offer wasn't true. Perursuo_fan accepted that and bailed out , and you should too.
Hearn is not making offers or sending Wilder any contracts because he is stalling on the fight for as long as he can. Anybody who hasn't an allegiance to one side can accept that.

If he made real offers then show me links etc , otherwise this melee is over.

"We'll freeze you out". Lmao... reminds me of the kid at school who doesn't want to fight so he says, "We'll tell the principal".

At the end of the day AJ has said the isnt happening cos of the money, Wilder is saying it doesnt happen cos AJ and Hearn dont want it ...... Therefore why doesnt Wilder just go down the route of becoming mandatory for one of AJ's titles (he could do that in a couple of fights) and take them then. If Wilder becomes mando and AJ drops the belts then we know who is ducking who.

Wilder says he wants the belts , AJ says he wants the money. This is the a win/win scenario for both.

Trust me I have no allegiance to AJ check out my thread post history I have slaughtered AJ for his racist remarks, go on check it out. I am no AJ fanboy

Sound like good old England. Some straight Cribb/Ward **** here. Or for a more recent reference the colorline. Jack Johnson was being far more unrealistic and his bull**** got him a shot. Why shouldn't the same work for Wilder?

Is there a pre-fight force greater than hate?

It a nice though slightly overlong way of saying we don't do high risk / low reward fights, cause we're not forced to.

Wilder knows what he's doing. He don't want no unification fight he's just using Joshua's name too build his own.

no. I think Joshua is right. Wilder just opens his mouth and talks and talks, and what is the point.

So Hearn and AJ will leave him ride off into the sunset with the belt they claim to desperately want , is that it?

You can't force a man to to fight if he doesn't want to fight.

The fans who defend Joshua’s comments because he is “worth more” - are you serious? Why would you care if Joshua makes a few million more quid? How does it benefit you? We only benefit if the fight happens.

Bottom line is there are two boxers here. One is screaming for the fight. That guy also wants a face off in the ring after the fight next Saturday. The other has categorically refused a face off, has said no fight until 2020, and is now saying he will freeze him out.

    Joshua is PETRIFIED of Wilder.

This is a ridiculous argument. Name me one fighter in the last 25 years who has been such a bigger draw than any opponent but voluntary gives up money for a 50/50 split.

We the fans don't benefit but we also understand this a business and its money which gets fights made.

I really don't understand this logic that Joshua should give up a few extra million yet Wilder shouldn't be accepting his biggest payday ever. How does that make any sense?

Any offer Joshua makes to wilder will see Wilder benefit a lot more than Joshua. Joshua already gets paid a fortune and a Wilder fight doesn't really change that. Wilder on the other hand makes a mega payday vs Joshua regardless of what the deal is. He makes nowhere close to the same money fighting anyone else and I ask you why do you care so much if Wilder doesn't get the spilt he wants? No benefit to you.
