You don't get it. The truth is we benefit either way. Either the fight with wilder is made and we watch AJ outbox him, or fights with other top level HW's are made, including against much better technical boxers like Povetkin, who could prove a tougher test than Wilder in any case. Either way boxing fans are entertained as they have been by AJ for some time now.

Of course if your only interest is Wilder you don't win in the second scenario. There's every chance wilder digs up some tomato cans to crush. That's not much fun to watch.

As previously stated, if Wilder really believes he will beat AJ all he has to do is accept the terms Hearns offers and he can prove it in the ring. Beat him twice and he's in control of the entire division.

The point is irrelevant anyway as like I said no matter what deal Wilder gets it will be his largest payday by far so why would you care if it wasn't as much as he liked? You are fan and just want to see the fight.

So the bodybuilders true colours are starting to show. The fear of going over to Alabama, getting mobbed by the bomb squad, and beaten to a bloody pulp by the bronze bomber is causing Anthony to crack. Deontay's got under Joshua's skin now, there's nothing he can do, before time runs out for him. Keep those belts warm, because you won't be able to keep hold of them for much longer lol.

 

To be honest with you both men are so entertaining I would not mind either one reigning Wlad style. What where the good comp's been cleared years ago and they're just going through the motions defending against no hopers like Mormeck.

People get too caught up in their side and forget to take joy in their brother's victories. England has not had many HW champs in Queensberry history. I'm happy for them. NZ has never, if Parker can pull of the upset I'll be one of them fools jumping for joy. Wilder is my backyard, Dixie King, he has my heart for the obvious reasons and when we go all the way it's sad so many New Zealanders and Europeans will just be bitter.

I'll not be them. If Dixie fails I will congratulate the victor and accept my looking like a dumbass. If we win I ain't gonna drag up old **** just to say I told you so. There is an honor in boxing that seems all but lost. I'm not alone it just seems that way sometimes.

 

If it ain't broke don't fix it. That's Hearn and Joshua's point of view. They are doing great, making upwards of 20 mil a fight cruising through mostly stiffs in the UK while Wilder is making two to five mil doing basically the same thing in the US. Wilder wants some of that big money but he has to beat Joshua to really start the money train and he is very capable of doing that. Hearn is aware of that and he wants to come into the Wilder fight with at least 100 mil already stacked in the bank. Wilder can't over ride that by talking smack. He also has to put in work. He needs to beat or stop Miller and Breazeale and Parker, even if Parker is defeated by Joshua. I don't see Hearn okaying the Joshua fight until the end of next year anyways and that's more than enough time for Wilder to bolster his position.
Right now, he is just spitting into the wind because with Hearn, it's all about the money.

 

Can't disagree with much of that. I feel the same way about Parker, he seems an honourable guy and having spent time in NZ I would be happy to see them get a share of the spotlight.

disagree with this I think those that have the argument are simply giving their opinion on what would happen if they were in the same situation (and fanboys will obv excuse him of everything!)

I couldnt care less, AJ gets paid a disgusting amount of money so far for what has been a very average career so far. However as I said if I were in his shoes I would want that wonga too. People are not giving THEIR reasons for why the fight hasnt been agreed yet their giving their opinion as to why there has not been agreed yet.

Do I think either is petrified of the other hell no, but they both want as much as possible and in this case in comparison to what he brings in Wilder is simply pricing himself out. If Joshua goes 50/50 he prob earns less than his usual purse or close to his average perhaps but if that deal goes through then Wilder gets more for one fight than he has his entire career !

If its not about the money for Wilder his team can make an official public offer to Joshua. From there Matchroom can either accept it or better it. Wilder claims he just wants all the belts and to prove he is the best but then says he will not accept any less than 40% split. Which is it the money or the recognition? He has contradicted himself here. AJ has always said that its about the money with this fight full stop.

As I said if Wilder comes out with an offer (which I dont think he will) cos then Hearn will just slightly better it meaning AJ gets more. However Wilder wont cos he wants that 40% split from Matchroom cos that would then blow any offer his team could put together (or are willing to put together).

 

Maybe you hadn't noticed but Joshua and his camp made fights with Klitschko and Parker, both belt holders. Wilder and his camp have........well talked a lot. Notice the difference?

 

Wilder needs to find, or manufacture, a British grandparent and start wearing UJ shorts.
