Tax revenue? What the hell you bringing that up for? Completely irrelevant. Like the U.K. could stop AJ fighting in vegas anyway!

Everyone who believes AJ is ducking, let me ask you this. If your wilder, would you accept a flat $12,000,000 fee? If you have any sense (which Wilder definitely doesn’t) then you would. His best pay cheque is what, $3m?

This equates to approx 30%. So for anyone putting the blame on AJ for not offering 40-50%, your aiming the blame at the wrong guy. Wilder is pricing himself out, if you can’t understand this POV, you have no business brain what so ever, if you do understand, your likely wealthy or an entrepreneur ;)

    Neither fighter is scared FFS....

All this is about is the split. AJ is miles ahead of Wilder in terms of draw. That's what it comes down to.

How many times have Wilder's team travelled to the UK to try and arrange something?

All i'm seeing is Hearn travelling to the US to try and get the ball rolling.

The Americans invented this 'A side/B side' nonsense yet cry wolf when the shoe is on the other foot.

Joshua has said he will accept 10x his highest payday to fight Wilder in the US......

So, offer Joshua that and you've got yourselves a fight.

Wilder is deserving of 40% regardless of the pot. You and the rest of the Wilder haters don't seem to realize how big this fight is for both men.
All 4 belts , undisputed , Ring belt and possibly lineal title too. Winner makes history , winner creates a legacy in the history books. This isn't no chump challenger , this is serious business and its not something that you take lightly , as in putting out ridiculous statements like - im going to freeze you out of this cos i don't like the tone of your voice .. or - i'll go off and play with my own toys..

Those are the words of a man who doesn't sound confidant about a fight with Wilder. A business brain will understand the risk may not be worth the reward. A guy like Joshua getting layed out by Wilder could shatter his confidence and ruin his career. Forum promoters may not rate Wilder , but people in the business take him very seriously

I’m a little confused by the tone of your post. I never said the U.K. could “stop” AJ from fighting in Vegas. My point is that there is NO reason for AJ to fight outside the U.K. As the unbeaten HW champion and Olympic gold medalist, AJ does not need to fight in Vegas. Besides:

    1. Why would Hearn take AJ to Vegas to fight in front of a smaller crowd than he commands in the U.K.?
    2. Why would AJ burden his fans with unnecessary travel to see him fight?
    3. Why would AJ give up home field advantage?
    4. Why would Hearn carry the business end of promotional burden away from his comfort zone?

I don’t think any rational person can accuse AJ of ducking Wilder. Until Wilder puts 70k @55es in seats, has a majority of the belts AND/OR AJ loses his 0, Wilder is in no position to dictate terms.

The best thing Wilder can do, if he’s serious about fighting AJ, is to stop negotiating this fight in the media. He especially should not mention any percentages as it will only hurt him at the negotiating table. Again, if Hearn is as smart as I think he is, he will ALWAYS offer less than whatever percentage Deontay mentions. Anything else from Hearn is irresponsible as it fails to protect AJ’s interests.

That is exactly right, fear doesn't come into the equation. The talk at the moment coming from the Hearn camp is designed to strengthen their negotiating position. People talk on here that careers end if they lose a fight. That simply isn't true. Do you think Joshua's fanbase would just walk away if he loses to Parker? If anything, it would increase the interest in the rematch, both fighters would stand to gain considerable wealth. A Parker loss also, will not eliminate him, he is good enough and young enough to win a world title again.

Wilder has nothing to fear from losing to Joshua also.. if he does then he gets rich as compensation.. and he will still be in major contention at the top of the heavyweight game.

All these posts who talk about 'fear' have no clue.

Dillian Whyte - Current WBC Number 1, IBF Number 4 ,WBA number 9 and WBO number 4.
Charles Martin - IBF champion, Current IBF number 8 and WBC number 9.
Dom Breazeale - Current IBF number 6, WBC number 2 and WBO number 2.
Wlad Klitschko - Do i need to say more?
Carlos Takam - Instated as Mandatory due to Pulev pull out and Current IBF number 7.

Honorable mention - Was signed to fight Pulev - IBF number 2, WBC number 5 and WBA number 4.

So that's 4 active top 10 opponents + Wlad - Wlad would still be top 10 if active.

    No, he has a point.

Wilder was fading badly, despite not throwing significantly or being forced to fight at a high pace.

He was fading by just walking around the ring.

Well what doesn't Hearn get the fight made instead of looking at Miller....Browne/Whyte winner.

Why doesn't AJ pressure Hearn into getting the fight made?

Why is everything negative when Wilder is mentioned?

Outside of Wlad, who was 41yo, inactive and coming off a loss. ...can you honestly say that the list you provided is a "great" list?

Honestly......Martin?.....Whyte?......then we have Takam who had 2 or 3 weeks notice and is solid but far from great.

Breazeale could turn out to be a true representation of a top 10 fighter but he was there to make AJ look good.

That's not an impressive list....bar Wlad.
