It's only 3 years and Wlad said this year that he could fight for another 10 years.

Wlad would be 41 which is younger than Vitali's last fight I believe.

Nonsense. That Clay kid won't even get by Liston who -- let's face it -- clearly hits harder, and will therefore win.

Jerry Quarry knocked out Ernie Shavers in one round. Muhammad Ali took 15 rounds to beat Shavers by UD.

That's boxing for ya :good :bbb

Based purely on physics alone I can only infer that Wladimir is just the naturally more heavy handed fighter. Joshua doesn't seem to really snap his punches the way Wladimir does.

P.S. AJ is not English. He's Nigerian. :deal

you have all to accept, that wlad is one of the biggest punchers of all time and he has proven it against at least 20 top ten guys!!!

on a sidenote: joshua looks like the real deal, but watch out for usyk (at cruiser, he will unify and then move up to heavy, he beat all the good super heavy amateurs who won against joshua)

letting undefeated heavyweight KO punchers fight 40 year old guys with 21 losses coming off a 1st round knock out is pathetic.

idiots on here cry about jermain taylor needing to retire because he was knocked out 3 times . danny williams and michael sprott...modern day punching bags with over 40 losses combined is somehow ok

Foreman stops Norton brutally in 2

    Ali couldn't couldn't do it in 39 !

Just shows you the gulf in class and power.

They should have fed Ali to Foreman. He woulda got 'bodied' in 2 or 3 rounds.

    Oh wait a minute...

Still Joshua looked sensational last night, I think another couple of fights and hell be ready to move onto world level but I think theres a lesson to be learned from David Price no matter how good you look you shouldnt rush a fighter

Who I would like to see Joshua fight next :

    David Price - British title
    Lucas Browne - Commonwealth title
    Erkan Teper - EBU-EU title
Dereck Chisora (assuming he loses to Fury) - British/EBU titles

You can forgive a few easy fights inbetween, hes still only a 10 fight novice so would be good to allow for a few learning fights inbetween so long as they are better opposition than Michael Sprott. Maybe chuck in the likes of Malik Scott / Steve Cunningham / Tony Thompson also to give him American Exposure.

It doesnt show you anything, mate. It has been ages since he lost to Pulev.Sprott is over the hill, totally shot.Nah! Dont get me wrong! Still a good scalp of Joshua, a young greenhorn at the big boys' league at the pros. However, doesnt really mean that he could beat Pulev at this point of time.Pulev did beat guys like Dimitrenko,Ustinov,Walker, and ............and .
I dont doubt that the young lad from the UK will be a great heavy one day,but we shouldnt murder the old geezer next door before we got hold of his will, should we!
Wlad would probably wipe the floor with Joshua in the very first round at present-Pulev could go five rounds with him.Does this mean that Pulev is better than Joshua? Not at all.Right now Joshua is still light years away from Pulev 's fight record and experience, but the potential is there.Nothing more, and nothing less.
