Nah Hearn's trying to spin this as a mental health issue and saying Fury is a pos for goading AJ when he's a mental health advocate, even though Fury's said very little. Basically he's desperately playing whatever victim card he can to cover for any mockery or criticism he receives for that meltdown.

Usyk started boxing at 16, two years before AJ did. The difference between them was dedication and ability, plain and simple.

Stupid post. Both guys are clearly dedicated. I don’t know when Usyk started boxing but will be shocked if it was at 16 because he shows things in there like Ali.

I’ve watched the meltdown again and it’s hard to watch. I have spoken positively about AJ in the past and was embarrassed for him. It’s funny to see all the yes men and usual suspects congratulating him and fist pumping him after the rant. Hearn’s comments were disgraceful as was the two cards that had AJ close or even winning. His antics overshadowed that discussion because they need to look at those cards, even though the right guy won.

AJ will recover from the loss and the meltdown. Hopefully he learns from both and becomes a better person as a result. Usyk handled the situation with class and dignity. If AJ needs an example of how to conduct himself as a professional, he only needs to look at the guy who took away his belts and beat him twice. Usyk would be a good guy to try to emulate in and out of the ring.

    it is boxing intelligence
16 & he is 35 years now. he has boxed for 19 years then
AJ been boxing for 14 years so cringe when people say ' he didn't start until 18"'
he's been boxer for 14 of his 32 years!

The judge who scored the fight for Joshua gave him the 12th. That's outrageous. Also after six rounds he had Joshua 5-1 up. Ridiculous...

Hearn to the cameras: Don’t be unkind to AJ, you have to understand he’s been under tremendous pressure, he had a mental breakdown after the fight, he trains really hard and basically treat how he acted after the fight as if it didn’t happen — or better yet applaud him for it because, well, he cried at the press conference … what a sensitive, brave man.

Hearn to AJ: You’re fighting in December because I say so. You signed a contract. Stop your sniveling and get over it.

men like Ray Mercer and James Bonecrusher Smith started at 23 or 25 in the army .
I'm not sure why "18" is a big deal

    pretty much true
if Hearn cared so much he wouldn't be telling everyone AJ needs to fight in December

You are missing the key points which are Usyk’s vast amateur high level experience well over 300 fights. AJ won his first world title in his 16th professional fight despite not being being the finished article, thereafter he has been on the treadmill of world title fights events having 1 or sometimes 2 fights a year has not aided his devoplment had he won and fought for the world title at a later stage of development.

It shows because they were not the most skilfull though they enjoyed some successes. The very best elite like Ali, Floyd SRR, Duran, Holyfield start even earlier.

People with low T levels cringe at everything. Talking to a girl - cringe. Holding a speech - cringe. Bad joke - cringe. Etc etc.

If putted out of context everything could be "cringe" but to be in Joshuas situation it was just slightly bad imho.

I prefer the real person AJ over matchroom media trained "stay humble" posterboy AJ.

This is the most exciting AJ of all time. Both His true emotions and boxing master class showoff Despite Losing to a superior man.

This actually raises my opinion of AJ over the meltdown thing. I think he is admitting Usuk won through skill and he isn't claiming that he won the fight and was cheated.

The video has subtitles and you can hear what is actually being said.

That judge needs to be pistol whipped. And never allowed within a mile of a boxing ring or gym.
