Does anyone remember the boxing toy/game where you pressed the muscle bound boxers head to punch the other guy?
Briggs is a knackered old turd. What's the point? If they want an experienced name, why not go for Tony Thompson? Don't even get me started on the PPV. Quigg v Frampton will be PPV no doubt also.
Agree, that's a good shout. I'm ok with the Briggs fight also. It's not amazing but it's a name and Briggs can still bang. I'd rather Chisora or Scott mind
Malik folds over after the first heavy shot Shannon as a stronger mentality better power with a better chin With a better career especially on paper
I dont mind briggs for AJ next, he took a pounding from vitali and kept on going. AJ will get rounds in for sure!
No way its chisora yet suerland will make that his or their cash out fight get him on a bit of a winning streak
Scott can actually box though which is something AJ hasn't come up against. Ignore the Wilder fight, that was as blatant a dive as you'll ever see
I would say Shannon can box better than Scott just look at their careers side by side Some one should tweet the cannon and see what his views are regarding this
I never said Cornish punched harder than Whyte. I said they were equally untested and their resumes weren't dissimilar before they fought Joshua. Both had done little but crush a bunch of cans. Briggs is probably a harder puncher than either by some distance but that matters little. He's old, slow, and wasn't that difficult for a long tall athletic opponent to outbox even in his prime. (or hell, even an old, slow Foreman who got robbed against him) Briggs' victims of late have been about on a par with the scrubs both Cornish and Whyte fed on before they fought Joshua. When is Briggs' last meaningful victory? Liakhovich. A decade ago. In a contest Briggs would have lost decisively but for Liakhovich collapsing at literally the last minute.
The whyte fight showed, Joshua has a lot to learn. still very raw. Briggs although ain't that deadly at this stage in his career is still a great fight for the development of AJ - and always has a punchers. No one's looking for AJ to lose right now. Need him to go step by step - so in a year or so time he could retire Haye and have a good s**** with Fury
