I don't remember as it's slightly before my time, my first boxing memory was Tyson v Holmes lol But yes I have seen it and Frank had it in the f....g bag until he didn't. Bonecrusher is another. These guys are not bums, the 80s are much better than they are portrayed. The 70s is the Golden era of Hw boxing and the 80s suffered in comparison, but they had many good fighters including bruno and a couple of greats in Holmes and Tyson
He is but he'd tailored his fighting style differently for his opponents just like Klitschko did. Just like Klitschko got knocked out and became a range fighter who didn't take as many risks as he did before getting KO'd multiple times, Joshuas doesn't take as many risks as he used to. You have to be a dumbass to not see that. Compare Joshua from Ruiz 2, Pulev and Usyk to all of his fights before the Ruiz debacle and it's clear as day he's more defensive minded and less willing to take risks. Whens the last time you've seen Joshua fight on the inside ? Exactly. That doesn't necessarily mean Joshuas is worse, and Usyk beats any version of Joshua btw. But in this particular match up against Bruno, Joshua trying to fight a range fight ups the likelyhood of him getting knocked out.
I rewatched Bruno vs Lewis (my thread is over in classic). Bruno did very well there, his jab was good and he doubled up on it nice at times. He obviously has power but just like I remember he was rather robotic and he faded in this fight similar to the Witherspoon fight (where Spoon was in awful shape). I think Frank does decent until midway when Joshua eventually stops a tired Bruno.
This. Bruno once said "I boxed Tyson twice and I boxed Lennox Lewis, and I would rather box Lennox Lewis five days a week than to fight Mike Tyson." If AJ were to pressure Bruno with fast hard shots from the bell I don't see Frank lasting.
