The Times is reporting that Joshua's management are looking to get a fight with Bryant Jennings to raise his US profile. Jennings went 12 with Wlad last year but also got stopped by Ortiz. So, if this does come off, what do you think?
Decent step up and would raise his profile in the states. I can't see any down side tbh and it would defo give him more experience.
That's actually a decent fight. One that's actually a bit of risk. Ortiz looks to be a beast and was able to outpower Jennings....Still a few questions marks over AJ's mobility and chin and Jennings is fairly fast around the ring for a heavy and throws in volume with aggression. If AJ's power has been over rated its a fight I could well see him loosing.
Clever match making, especially if they're looking at Deontay. Jennings has a W over Szpilka. He is coming off a couple losses but to no shame losing to Wlad and Ortiz.
I'm pretty sure that if he does things correctly he would be able to fight in the US. Also it can raise his profile because people in the US know who Jennings is and if he beats him and gets a shot at Charles Martin or Deontay Wilder in the UK he would be known enough to make US television interested.
Ten quid tomorrow is better than two quid today. Maybe they don't want to sell a PPV this time because of the paydays this fight could unlock.
Would be a great fight. AJ needs to keep stepping it up. A win against Jennings is a massive statement. Or is it too much to soon?
Uk lager lout football fans or 'casuals'...will buy this if its on ppv and he fights in USA. ....hearn will just price it at 10 or 11 pound
