Remember the tickets in Kansas were flying off the shelves too! And then 30 people showed up for the actual event

Let me help out a bit here. Big Baby is from Brooklyn, NY. Same as Tyson and Bowe. NY heavyweights with ability draw, and its been about 10 years since a USA heavyweight, not named Widler has a chance to be #1.

I thought that the stick that Joshua was getting was because of rivalry but this really opened my eyes about the pure hatred people have for the guy. A lot of the pro wilder and fury YouTubers could not even bring themselves to congratulate both Miller and joshua, they went straight into excuses and attack mode, even the comment sections are so bitter.

While you are right NY heavyweights tend to draw well, Miller doesn't. Only 6,874 showed up for his last fight and many of them left when Miller's fight came round as they were there to see the local fighter Rios, who fought before him.

His previous fight in NY was with Daniel Jacobs another NY boxer and together they only drew 4,691.

These sales are not down to Miller, they are down to Joshua. But it's only pre-sales, we need to see how it does when tickets go on general release. But I suspect this will be sold out.

That's what people are overlooking, the fact that Miller is from Brooklyn and they love him in New York, He is responsible for a large number of ticket sales. It is not all about AJ.

You're an idiot to go to this in NYC over Wilder/Fury or Khan/Crawford

This is clever marketing from Hearn. Tell people tickets are flying off the shelves, gives the impression this is a huge event. People then buy tickets as it’s an attraction and seems like everyone’s going.

Those floor tickets are only the same price as a Dominoes Pizza outlet. Bargain if you ask me, cheers Eddie !!

Maybe Salita will focus on the grunt work? From booking hotels, dealing with the venue, getting licenses and so forth. A ridiculous amount of work goes into any such event, big or small.

From what I have heard, Salita and Cohen do very little except write contracts with punitive clauses in them.

Makes no sense that Hearn would buy tickets for his own event. That would be criminal activity and for sure he would lose his promoters license if caught. Not to mention the jail time.

Meanwhile Fury and Wilder with months of PR could not even sell 40% of their tickets LMAO!! AJ should get 80/20 against these two nobodies

I know Miller wanted out of his deal with Salita, or something like that. There were some issues between them.
