Talk of this fight taking place now that Usyk is gone.

Seems like a sensible fight. He'll probably dispatch of Wallin in a more impressive fashion than Fury did, Joshua fans can claim victory over Fury and then they can use it to build Fury V Joshua in November or December.

Wallin is good enough to make the fight interesting, but not good enough to pose a serious threat imo.

I suspect It would be an easy opponent like Wallin, Ortiz and Helenius unfortunately who are not good enough opposition for AJ (AJ has beaten at least 6 opponents better).

I would rather see AJ fight any of Joyce, Sanchez or Hunter who could give AJ a competitive fight.

AnJo vs JoJo probably best option.
But it would be funny to see Joshi decimate Wallin though.

Great matchup. I'd like to see it. Reckon its far to a BIG a risk = reward for AJ as an intrim fight though just in case the Uysk fight is possible in the not to distant future . My money would be on Joyce anyway TBH.

From AJ's prospective I think AJ/Wallin would be a better sensible tactical alternative as mentioned. Quite an interesting fight all things considered.

Based on both the performance of AJ's and Wallins last outings and the styles of both fighters, I think it would lead to an AJ win. Probably a stoppage mid to late rounds.

Wallin would be far more competitive in general than say old Pulev was though. No walk in the park by any means.

Joshua-Joyce is obviously a more enticing matchup, but I'd happily watch Joshua-Wallin.

I think the fight makes sense. I wuoldnt buy it on PPV but can see the logic behind the narrative.

Joshua gets rid of him easily and sets up the Fury fight

Makes sense. It’s an opponent that’ll come to fight, has a history with Fury, and can be considered a light preparation for Usyk, being a southpaw with workrate and mobility(by HW standards).

Though obviously, the fight we all want to see is Joshua vs Wilder, then the winner fights Usyk.

I agree. It would be a great fight for us fans but it makes a little more sense for Joshua to have a bit of a confidence builder with a new trainer and take that pressure off a little. The reality for Joshua is he got beat last time out and the fans are used to seeing him fight top guys.
It makes sense for him to fight someone like Wallin who I think he can beat. I think Joyce is a tougher fight as he's got a good chin and gas tank. yet if Joshua loses to a guy with only 13 fights then he's in a tough spot.

I don''t think Wilder is in the picture as he's MIA and coming off two big beatings. It would be a good scrap but that boat has sailed.
I think AJ v Fury is a far more likely fight as it would be the biggest fight in UK history and both would fancy their chances.
Wilder would need to earn a spot and I'm not convinced he wants it at this point.

From Ortiz's last two fights I think one crack on the chin and it would be fight over. Wallin can bring some durability to the table.

Wallin would be a solid if unspectacular opponent.
Joyce would give AJ fits so no way that happens. AJ has to choose his fights very carefully now. 1 more loss and he's probably done at that top and he will want to get in the ring with Fury somehow.
