We all know that Wilder will not fight AJ based on previous actions and being so reluctant. Plus there better boxer available such as Joyce, Hunter and Sanchez.
All good points mate. I know Joyce has only had 13 Pro fights and I suppose that must count to some degree against him regarding pro experience or lack of. But Joyce is such a determined fighter with a huge work rate and great chin. Plus he's naturally (no body builder bulk here) the size of Ben Nevis!. He's very modest in nature and has a quiet but very deep self belief in himself. We all know that counts for a lot in a fighter. As we all know AJ's self confidence & self belief has taken a battering to date. I think AJ would be wise at this point to face someone like Wallin for the reasons you've mentioned. I think AJ wins this one and if nothing else it'll give him new confidence and 'come back' comments in any media Fury exchanges should he actually stop Wallin. I think he does BTW Plus it's all good build up for a possible Fury/AJ bout
Agree mate. I think Joyce beats AJ by the way. That's why it's better to skip Joyce for now as it will be career ending. I think Joyce is in a good spot as the other top guys are looking to get out. I know he's not young but as you say he's a natural man mountain not like Joshua or Bruno who bulked up and he has low miles on the clock. he's got good fundamental attributes and with no obvious young lions coming up it's there for the taking. I like Joyce like Usyk is a likeable dude who just get's on with it.
Joshua will destroy Wallin. I have said many times he is severely overrated by Fury fans and people on here. I don't get how people rate Wallin but dislike the likes of Parker and Hughie Fury, who I rank both above Wallin.
Yep, I fully agree he's a low mileage, very good nick young 36 yro. Comes across as very young and fresh at heart too. Impressive for his age and size that he can sill do his cart wheel flip mularky too! Both Joyce and Usyk are my current preferred Heavyweights too. The pair of them are a credit to the sport, inside and outside of the ring.
Ortiz is officially turning 43 by the end ıf this month, and according to the AJ fans, he was in his late 40s going into his first fight against Wilder. I don’t think anyone should be crumbling with a man well into his 50s getting KOd.
Eddie Hearn said the other day Joshua isn't fighting anyone next except Usyk and they'll wait for him. That's because Joshua doesn't get a title fight unless he's fighting Usyk. Usyk signed a rematch clause. That's the only reason he has one. The WBO and the WBC don't rate Joshua at all. The IBF already has a final eliminator scheduled and it doesn't include Joshua. The WBA rates Joshua #5 behind four other contenders and a "regular" champ. If Joshua fights anyone other than Usyk, the rematch clause is voided. So Joshua will wait to see how the Usyk situation plays out in the Ukraine. Otherwise, Joshua just has to get back in line and it'll be years before he can fight for ONE belt, let alone three.
Wallin would get up for this and perform way better than his last outing where he seemed not motivated at all. Wallin while basic can be tricky. Good interesting fight for sure.
AJ would have an awkward opponent in Wallin. Heart + southpaw. Walin showed against Fury that he has everything he needs to fight an A-class boxer. A motivated AJ in good shape would still be a favorite. Fury’s not-so-spectacular victory over Walin would give AJ fans room for “arguments” if AJ wins. The problem is that Walin's motive for winning would be higher. 60-40 for AJ, no more. AJ is also mentally broken (like Wilder, but not to such an extent).
