Won't all the extra weight and strength exercises (particularly neck area) improve his chin? That is if chin = ability to absorb force?

I would say Joshua has shown decent chin so far in his pro career. He's no Vitali but I don't see it as a glaring weakness.

I'd be steering them around punchers at heavy if that was the case. If a light heavy could hurt them with a 60-70lb weight disadvantage id be concerned. They should be able to soak it up with no real effects imo. Their monsters at heavy now size wise

So you think a haymaker from Beterbiev or Kovalev wouldn't faze any of the biggest heavyweights? The problem is them being able to apply that power to these monstrously sized men.

I'd fully expect Fury Joshua and Parker to brush off any shot Kov or Beterbiev landed yes..The Pimp should be mentioned before them 2 also for power !

Perhaps I've seen a lot more giants get dropped by smaller men in that weight range than you have! And Stevenson is capable of hurting massive men for sure if he were to get a free shot in.

Out of interest, what light heavy's have you seen drop giants with the 60-70lb advantage ? i'm not talking 175 v 210 kind of weight range of years gone by, i'm talking now..

Marciano, Louis, Tyson, and Holmes all look great on that list.

If you go far enough back, naming Louis and Dempsey, you have to look at the gloves used as well.

Joshua has taken everything thrown at him so far. why discredit him? all the greats get put down at one time or another, its how they bounce back and ride the storm!

    cunninham 210 v fury 255
    cunningham always a cruiser though

huck another cruiser was competitive v povetkin but could not hurt him / just the workrate gave povetkin problems.

at light heavy only jones and james toney from recent times
neither had any power at heavy at all
holyfield was washed up and imo it was to old fighters v each other one had more left than the other thats all.

going back before that the 70s ko light heavy artist / tall skinny black fighter from usa fought ali / his name wont come into my head / bob foster / funny how memory works as you get older / his punches meant nothing at heavy

another holyfield himself albeit when he fought bowe first time he was about 204 to bowe 250 and holyfield landed the kitchen sink on bowe and nothing had any effect / simply IMO bcause of the weight difference.

I agree. I have noticed that Johsua went hurt rule bends and fouls. Didn't he hit on the break when Whyte rocked him and spit out his mouth piece to gain 15 seconds when he was on unsteady legs vs Wlad?

Povetkin isn't the size that i'm on about, hes not a super heavy, plus Cunningham was not fighting at 175lb. Its a struggle to find 1 fight where its evident. Bowe was way smaller than 250 for Holy 1 also. Bob Foster is a good gauge. A killer at 175 and nothing as you say at heavy power wise

Holyfield was 205 and Bowe was 235 in their first bout.

Povetkin was 229 to Hucks 209.

Fury was 254 to Cunninghams 210
