Some people can’t hide their bias. I can’t stand Fury - he’s a compulsive liar, a drug cheat and lies about giving money to charity - but he’s an excellent fighter.

Ref this thread, you would really compare him to May and Loma P4P?

No mate, inactivity and not facing certain fighters will see to that, but can’t deny he’s a brilliant fighter.

this is my position on him 100%. I think he will go onto and go down as an all time great. As a person, no thanks. But i'll pay to watch him fight. If I only paid to watch fighters I like as people I'd be paying to watch Dave Allen pretend to startch a man called Darch.

If some posters honestly believe that Fury is an ATG, which is ridiculous with his incredibly thin resume, then I wouldn’t get into it with them. They probably also think Loma is average because he has 3 losses. Best to let them crack on.

I haven’t said Fury is an ATG. I’ve said he’s a brilliant fighter. Not every brilliant fighter is an ATG.

That’s the problem with the 2 forum fibbers Brixton Bum and Drama Queen - they just make things up you’ve said to suit their argument.

I said Fury is a brilliant fighter, someone asks me if I think he’s as good as Mayweather and Lomachenko, I say no but then Brixton automatically thinks no means yes and starts whinging about an answer which was the total opposite to what I actually said.

It's like they are a cult mate.

Tyson's best opponent and biggest win was nearly NINE YEARS AGO. His second best win was three years ago. For some active ATG in his prime that is comical.

Exactly. No reasonable response so resort to childish insults.

Lewis actually lost by KO at the same age that Fury beat McDermott, Loma actually lost by decision to Salido despite being one of the most decorated amateur boxers ever. It's yet to be seen whether Fury will fight Usyk, 2023 (the first year they could fight no-strings attached) isn't even over yet, while Mayweather (who you claim is mega elite) ducked Pacquaio for over 5 years.

Fury is the best heavyweight boxer ever, ahead of Lewis who went 2-2 with McCall and Rahman. Greatness is more subjective, most would pick Ali despite a handful of losses, speaking at Klan rallies, ending up in a wheelchair due to his addiction to boxing and/or the limelight and his own nonsense exhibitions:

I didn’t really aim it at you tbh, you know I respect your boxing opinions.

I agree we all have our favourites and P4P comparisons are essentially fantasy fights. It’s just differing of opinions with most of us.

I can’t believe it’s taken us this long for one of us to come up with Drama Queen :).

Luckily for you then that we’ve had confirmation today that ‘the best heavyweight boxer ever’ is back in action at the end of October so you can enjoy him.

Shame he isn’t defending his title against an actual pro boxer rival, but hey ho you know best.

Btw don’t tell me - Wilder is the 2nd greatest heavyweight of all time yes?

Note - Just reread your post and yes I do know that Loma lost to Salido as I’ve seen over half his fights live and also yes I do stand by saying that Mayweather is ‘mega elite’ as you put it.

I really hope you haven’t seen Mayweather box live, because if you had and still question his skills you would realise how ridiculously talented he was in his prime.
