You clearly believe the official narrative, to me its BS

Hearn is such a dumbo that he cannot even lie without contradicting himself.

If AJ was planning on fighting a big name- it would have been announced 4-5 weeks ago now. Because of promotional time required to maximise the revenue.

We are now less than 6 weeks until fight time and its too late to arrange a fight with anyone with any standing unless they are already training for a TBC.

It's "possible" that Wladimir has simply balked on the notion of fighting AJ in England. I get the impression that he'd only want to take that fight in Germany, where he can approach everything akin to the "usual" match-ups he's had there for the past several years.

It's also "possible" that Wlad already knows the fight will be sanctioned (of course they could pay Browne money to either step aside or wait on the WBA side) but... they're just not letting Hearn/Matchroom in on it yet by deliberately dragging out the process.

Wlad could be training away just for AJ right now, while AJ is still sitting in limbo, not knowing for sure who to prepare for. It's getting close to 5 weeks out from fight night now, so the clock is ticking while the WBA fiddles around. Wouldn't put it past K2 to try doing something like this.

^Of course this is purely all just speculation... and it's more than likely just BS.

At any rate, AJ should still be focusing on Wlad being his next opponent, just in case.

Mallignaggi was supposedly told by Eddie Hearn that there was no chance of Joshua v Klit this year as he prefers a summer date to maximize revenue.

My take on things is Hearn would have given Wlad the impression during negotiations that he could get the WBA on side provided the proposed fight gained enough momentum. Pretty much railroad the WBA into jumping on-board. But it doesn't appear to have worked.

Hearn said if the WBA title wasn't on the line the fight wouldn't happen, and he was saying it long before Klitschko did.

Alrite. I'm now convinced this fight isn't going to happen on December 10th.

So you think the WBA will decide to sanction it then?

Do you think it can happen without the WBA sanctioning it? I don't.

No I don't think so either. Maybe next year well get to see that fight, but I'm about 90% sure it isn't happening on the 10th of December.
