Is he a good talker as well? In all seriousness, that sounds like a thinly-veiled dig at Joshua's opponent and further hints at a serious rift developing between MR and Sky over Eddie prioritising going stateside over building Sky's domestic showings.
Ha! I just seen it as his way of downplaying the fact that Miller is a beached whale. But yes! He came out with the usual cliches. Good talker, from the same place as Tyson & Bowe, great speed and stamina etc!
But Fury didn’t get knocked down ? Fury wasn’t blowing out of his arse after getting knocked down by Wilder in the 12’TH round commpared to Joshua who was gassed out by the 6th Round against a 42 Year Old Man. Fury already has taken on and beaten WILDER. Fury has already taken on and beaten Klitschko easier than Joshua did... How can you dislike Fury in any rational way ? Joshua’s two best opponents Klitschko and when he does fight Wilder, are two of Fury’s leftovers. Fury is real and authentic too. Joshua is a fake, you admitted this too when he was seen messaging about Superior Races and Robert Muagbe.
They're obviously trying to sell Joshua to the Americans so this gives them more time to do it and try and drum up maximum interest in the fight. Plus the fight is a harder sell over here compared to his last few fights, so more time to promote it over here too.
This is a much more interesting version of AJ - the PR team have clearly told him to ramp things up abit, which is all good:
It's less about Joshua and more about DAZN, the guys who are footing the bill. They want to maximise sign-ups, so they want AJ to fight within a calendar month of Canelo, indeed it's almost, but not quite a full calendar month apart from Canelo Jacobs. So they have the two biggest draws in world boxing fighting on their channel from May 4th to June 1st. This period will be their biggest acquisition drive to date. It will be interesting to see the content just before and after this period also as they will very much want get as many as possible to stay beyond the free trial period.
There's no smoke without fire.. people who would know (ie fighters themselves who'd hear genuine inside info) keep alluding to it far too often for it to be completely false.
To be fair, I imagine Whyte had plenty of time to follow the Lance Armstrong case. He was serving a 2 year drugs ban himself while it was all going on.
