Parker didn't go life and death... The AJ win was clear BUT the rounds were almost all quite competitive even if leaning AJs way and Takam won one of them. Takam had 2 weeks camp for AJ, too. Aside from Wlad that fight was easily AJs hardest fight and Parker is much much closer in size to AJ.

While AJ is clearly the A side it should be a clear hint to anyone thinking it will be an easy fight for AJ (which the Takam fight was far from) should revisit their expectations.

I think deep down, we're all anticipating a good match up. Based on your reply to my post before, it sounded like you doubted it would be a good fight. Despite what we might say about the fight in regards to Joshua will do this and Parker will do that etc etc, we really don't know and thats why we watch. Should be a good fight because we're not going to pay to watch paint dry ;)
Yeah I just hope Joe bragging about having a solid chin doesn't give him a false sense of security. He's a professional and I'm almost sure he won't go wagging that chin like Mayorga. I think Joes been boxing longer than Joshua and so I assume Joes sparred and fought more rounds. My point is - with all those rounds, Joes chin has stood the test of time and up to this point, he has not even been wobbled in sparring, amateur or in his pro rounds. Can Joshua knock him out? Yes absolutely lol.
Ah so thats the point you were trying to make earlier. Hey look, I got no problem with that. Joshua seems to be displaying new defensive tricks with each outing, for example, we saw him move his head against Klitschko but just couldn't land that left hook. Anyway, next time make your point. All I posted about was the fight being anticipated and that it should be good for us to finally see a unification by two champions, and then you replied like Parker has no chance when really, all you wanted was to tell me what you think will happen. Like I said in my first post in this thread, it should be a good fight. Good luck with your predictions about Parker having no chance :)

Hearns getting his paybacks for all the **** Parkers team are "rightfully" insisting upon. They must be agreeing to a 40 60 split and are now doing it in a 6-7000 seat run down stadium that is almost the middle of nowhere yeah? will still Parker's biggest payday :)

All good mate. No I can totally understand what youre saying, Anthony Joshua is a great champ. It was clear to me ages ago that you feel that Joe will lose but, you will be watching because its not a foregone conclusion. Im not here to "hypnotize" people through my posts to see it my way because I honestly dont know whos going to win lol. As I said before - watch it because its going to be a good fight. Youre watching it to see what happens so there you go and good on ya.

ummm, joshua had a full camp. he also knew who the stand in would be. no way he wasn't at least partially preparing for takam the whole time.

The difference is Parker has never been down or even looked like going down. Dillian Whyte shook Joshua up for God's sake :D

Hate to spoil a good story. But it was Takam who was on 2 week's notice. Joshua had a full camp.

    I like Joe

But AJ destroys him. Too big, too strong, too skilled. Parker is still young enough to make a comeback.
