The thing I like about my man Parker is that when he talks and talks about a fight - it gets made. Too many times in the heavyweight division we're hearing boxers say they want this person and that person and then ends up not fighting neither this or that person. Regardless whether it is or isn't the 'talkers' fault that the fight didn't eventuate, the aftermath of all that talk can be a real let down to the eagerly awaiting fans and therefore the sport takes a rip to the guts. Joshua and Parker simply do not muck around. These guys say they want to fight the best and they've shown that in their short reign as champions. Now its the best of the best, unification, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. The winner of this fight I think will go on to beat Wilder and I wouldnt be surprised if it all happened in 2018 the way Joshua and Parker are going.
If stormy is who I think he is, then he was my favourite local fight 20 - 25 years ago. He'd turn up on everyone's kickboxing or boxing card as a last minute ringin and fight whoever they put in front of him for probably nothing more than a six pack of beer. There were lots of epic fun kickboxing events down at the Mandalay in New market. He was probably on most of them.
