Yeah that will be interesting to see what he chooses it might have an impact in regards to what happens regarding Joshua/Parker. If Povetkin goes the WBO route it gives Parker another opponent he can make a good payday against, though Povetkin already declined paying Parker $4 mill for a fight between them so it won't be a good as Parker would like but still better than he would get against anyone else but Joshua. If Povetkin goes the WBA route it would be a bold move to try and force a Joshua fight. It might give Joshua more leverage as it limits Parker's options for a good pay day and this might see Parker and Higgin reduce their demands.
His promoter thinks he isn't ready for Joshua yet, he has said that Povetkin will be ready in 1 or 2 fights, so I think they will choose the WBO route.
If Joshua-Parker isn't made Parker will likely fight Lucas Browne. Followed by a mandatory with Povetkin that he will likely travel for but be well rewarded.
Yeah Parker has options as it seems Povetkin doesn't want Joshua right now. He's going to make some good money in these 2 fights, probably way more than Wilder will in his next 2 fights, but Wilder is apparently worth 50% lmao.
Likewise, and if Joshua-Parker isn't made, Parker-Browne is almost assured. Duco have already issued Browne with a contract and he is happy with the terms.
The fight will get made with Parker getting a third of the pie. Doubt very much it will fall through from here. Both camps have a history of delivering on fights within their control.
