Fair and reasonable. But what if it comes from both sides?

This is from one of the articles:

Joshua’s promoter made it clear, however, that Joshua ultimately will be the man that decides where their huge heavyweight fight eventually takes place. Hearn made that clarification in response to what Shelly Finkel, Wilder’s manager, said last weekend about bringing the highly anticipated title unification fight to Las Vegas.

Finkel noted that if casino executives in Las Vegas really want the Joshua-Wilder fight, it’ll take place there because they’ll offer more money than the fight could make in England, even if it could draw another capacity crowd of 90,000 to London’s Wembley Stadium.
    ________________________

However note that Hearn has also said more or less the opposite as well. Basically, unless the big guns in Las Vegas finance the fight it'll be in the UK.

After the initial meeting between Hearn and Finkel regarding a possible Joshua-Wilder fight in the US, Hearn had this to say :

"We all know the Vegas numbers. We have run them for the Klitschko fight and Finkel is right, you can generate a bigger gate there. Bigger than Wembley."

Things turned parochial and it all became about self interest after that.

Yeah the interview I saw on YouTube may have mentioned vegas helping to finance it as being a deciding factor. Joshua fighting in the states was definately part of the plan for this year though wether it be against Wilder or somebody else.

That was after all the driving force behind Hearn opening up his interests in the US.

It doesn't mean Joshua-Wilder will be held there - that hasn't been decided yet - but Hearn knows Vegas can do bigger business than the UK can for this fight. He already conceded as much.

All you had to do was post a source to your claim. But instead, you act like an insolent baby. BTW, you can cut that rank crap on me. Been here MUCH longer than you have child. this is just a newer account.

    BTW, here's what Hearn's said: "
Hearn also responded to Finkel’s characterization of the drawing potential of both men. Finkel had said that, while there were many people at the Joshua’s last fight - an estimated 78,000 fans turned out to 10,924 for Wilder-Stiverne - that more money could be generated if a fight between the two was placed in Las Vegas.

“I saw his comments about Vegas can generate more in a gate. Yeah, if you price it a certain way. We like to be accessible to fight fans. When we priced the Klitschko fight, we could have doubled the prices and it would have still sold out, but that’s not always the answer,” said Hearn."

    And the source:
    https://www.rappler.com/sports/by-sport/boxing-mma/187801-hearn-haymon-joshua-wilder-super-fight

That's how you do it properly. But seeing as you *******ized the quote from Hearns, no wonder you insisted on NOT providing a source. G'night lil one...

a link will suffice. Pretty big difference between "Look what Hearns said here in this article.." and "Hearns said blah blah..."

That link you posted referred to holding Joshua vs Wlad ll in Vegas......

That's a whole different thing to discussing Joshua vs Wilder in Vegas.

Hearn's quote - the one l posted - was following his first meeting with Finkel and they were discussing Joshua-Wilder at that meeting.

Hearn didn't go all the way to the US to reminisce about Joshua beating Klitschko.

Hearn and Finkel met about Joshua-Wilder and that quote was used by Hearn in a discussion about Joshua-Wilder immediately afterwards. That was the context of the quote.

Any lingering doubts and I'd suggest the lazy and ignorant use Google. It isn't hard.

    Leave you to it. Cheers.
