I do think banning individuals for seeking to sell tickets to events that for whatever reason they can no longer attend would be unfairly punitive.

Joshua is a boxing big fish while Wilder is a boxing minnow.

"Joshua's gates are terrible".

@BlizzyBlizz

Is this the point where bias meets delusion?

Good post @Willie Maeket

The truth is uncomfortable for Wilder fans.
Your heavyweight champ is UNDER paid!
We've heard stories how Klitschko opponents got 'slave' contracts, how Bob Arum should pay more to Loma, how Duva is robbing Kovalev blind and he should leave her.

But we never ever hear the same people saying the same about DiBella and Haymon! Why is that? When are Wilder fans gonna come clean and call spade a spade?

Maybe it's time for Wilder to leave Haymon and DiBella, they have proven to be inept, unable to get Wilder fights that he needs and wants, severely under-paying your heavyweight champion and making a mockery out of his career.

Wilder is making same purses as Danny Garcia, Berto and Spence, this **** is embarrassing

Look what wilder earns.

Could he even afford ringside for Joshua Parker?

Yet he wants 50/50 haha.

Joshua's gates are terrible for that amount of people attending a fight and they don't charge a lot alt. Anyone can go alt. Even you alt.

Ok. So who’s gate gets more money? Joshua’s 80k or Wilders 8k?

Also you should do some research.

https://www1.ticketmaster.com/premier-boxing-champions-deontay-wilder-v-brooklyn-new-york-03-03-2018/event/00005429F1F467FD

Wilder ringside are $550. Joshua ringside are £2000. $2,800 in today’s market. Not that you can even get Joshua tickets as they sold out in seconds. You can pretty much choose a seat anywhere you like for Wilder Ortiz.

Are you an illiterate? Floyd, that you? The article I posted is about joshua - Wilder FFS.

"“First of all, the only person reaching about anything to do with Deontay Wilder is me. I made all the first discussions, yes he called me back at a time when the Pulev fight had just fallen out so I was a little bit busy at the time,” said Hearn.

“Wilder is talking about people running and all this; we’ve never even had discussions about the fight. So he’s doing what he’s doing trying to raise his profile using Joshua’s name, and he’s doing a great job. Deontay’s getting nice momentum here in the States, that fight has to happen in 2018. We’ll see what they say tomorrow.”

Hearn also responded to Finkel’s characterization of the drawing potential of both men. Finkel had said that, while there were many people at the Joshua’s last fight - an estimated 78,000 fans turned out to 10,924 for Wilder-Stiverne - that more money could be generated if a fight between the two was placed in Las Vegas.

“I saw his comments about Vegas can generate more in a gate. Yeah, if you price it a certain way.
We like to be accessible to fight fans. When we priced the Klitschko fight, we could have doubled the prices and it would have still sold out, but that’s not always the answer,” said Hearn."

Hearns is clearly talking about Wlder - Joshua here , and you remark about how Hears said the fight would make more in Vegas? Here is it...yeah, if you charge people through the roof he said...

You can always tell when @BlizzyBlizz is struggling in a debate.....

The word 'Alt' begins appearing in his posts.

You don't understand alt.
This isn't a Wilder Joshua comparison. We know the numbers that each does in their country. What's Parkers numbers anyway? Nevermind. If the Wilder Cowardshua fight has a chance to make more money in the states, why not do the numbers and see if it can.

I will also never understand why a boxing fan would want to pay 3-4 times more to watch the same fight?

That is essentially what the guys are saying when claiming it should be held in Vegas....or anywhere in the US.

I thought you 'didn't care about the A side nonsense'?

If you don't care about purses/splits, then you want to see the fight as quick and as cheap as possible correct?

Then you want to watch the fight on PPV in the UK as it's only 1/3 of the price of a US PPV.

Do you get a sense of joy knowing a venue will charges higher price for tickets or something? Get a sense of pride when casinos hand out free ringside to celebrities? Is that what gets you off? You in the sport to see what guys get paid and what ticket prices go for? Sure as hell isn't because of the boxing...and take your frickin meds before you post.

Some years ago there were a couple of posters here saw it as some kind of status symbol to be able to pay for overpriced PPV's en tickets. You can't make that s__t up!
