Interested to know what the opinion is on this forum so close to the fight. I expect at least 10 votes to Joshua, for every 1 for Parker.

I feel like this forum takes Parker only slightly more serious a threat than Carlos Takam. I think most people see this fight as a sure thing in Joshua’s favour.

I can only see bias fans thinking Parker will win. Either that or ppl who don't care showing they don't know what their talking about .

This is about as an farce upset as I've seen with two champions undefeated, which probably has never happened at HW? Joshua is just too skilled and can punch...

No one watching Parker fights can seriously pick him here even if they want him too win. It literally is one of those fights that unless it happens then you can start picking against Joshua in fights like this.

I've seen enough of Parker to know that he doesnt have what it takes to beat AJ
I can see AJ putting a steady whupping on him. Could go 12 rounds for sure as Parker is a tough dude.

AJ should win Parker is made for him.

I hope Parker does the job but I just can't see it.

I expect Joshua to win. I haven't actually seen much of Parker. I will watch a bit more and decide if I think it will be a stoppage or a decision.

OK, lets clarify something here for the "other side" bias fans. I've voted for Anthony Joshua because I think he has more upside than Parker coming into this fight - BUT the slightly annoying thing is this seems to be a bit of an enabler for casuals/Parker haters who take it as though Parker has no chance.

In my opinion Parker has a solid chance in this fight, and I am getting a bit sick of Joshua fanbois acting like saying THAT is being a biased Parker fan. I am a Parker fan but when I look at fights I am VERY objective, I've called his weaknesses and strengths plenty of times in the past and so far I've been very on point for all of his fights so I feel that is a reasonable sign I have an alright handle on his ups and downs as much as I do other fighters I am commenting on.

If Parker wins it will be an upset, but a Joshua win is not a sure thing - I see it as a closer fight than lots of people are giving it credit for and especially being a Parker fan I want him to wipe out the pom, more because of the swathes of casuals completely overlooking a dude that if there was no AJ in the division with an unprecedented (and padded with British stoppages) KO record would be getting a LOT more credit than he is right now.

It's offensive how overlooked and unappreciated his talent is, especially considering how little wrong he has done.

He is clearly aware this is his big opportunity, he is up against it and he is really really putting his back into it - and is thriving on being the underdog. I'm excited to see the hunger here, and the things Brit casuals are overreading to think are him being rocked the moment are actually the complete opposite... if you're used to Samoans you'd see he is buzzing and focussed and this could well be a very different Parker to what we've seen before.

Bring on the 1st April, I hope that he makes a fool of a lot of people.

Parker is young, has top 2 handspeed in the division, has 12 rounds stamina, a good chin, good power and footspeed

Consudering how **** aj supposedly is this is a good fight

But the americans are trying to downplay the win pre-emptively

No real joshua fans are calling this an wasy fight because it isn't

As far as parker not getting that much credit that is down to his own lackluster performances, he is a better fighter than he's been sjowing lately.

You kiwis need to get over this thing of blaming brits for your guts being "held down" it's ridiculous.

Not going to happen, as a Parker fan you can't make a reasonable comment on any post on Facebook/twitter/wherever on Parker and not get flooded by comments being told he'd lose to anyone in the top 30/any British level boxer would KO him in the first 6 rounds/blah blah blah.

The only lacklustre performance he had was Cojanu and it was still a dominant win in a fight I could see how he'd go into with few ****s to give, the other recent wins were actually pretty decent against very tough and undefeated fighters. Lets just see how long it is before Ruiz or Fury are beaten by anyone else, and if so - who and how.

Parker seems plenty tough and durable so if he can survive the early rounds onslaught without shipping too much punishment he may be able to capitalise if/when Joshua gasses and is in recuperation mode. Other than that scenario I see AJ getting it done one way or the other, my money being on a mid rounds stoppage.

Really hyped for another high profile heavyweight clash and think we will see the best AJ performance yet.

Yeah forgot to add this, Joshua ALSO looks to be as driven as he's ever been which is a scary thought. I think we'll be seeing the best of both guys, hopefully no excuses one way or the other. Very very exciting fight.

Mate i live in hamilton and i watched the takam and ruiz fights with a bunch of my kiwi mates who are all casuals and all of them were saying parker isnt what he's cracked up to be and AJ would spark him. While me, the brit, was left to explain that styles make fights and he's live vs AJ

If you want to talk about people underrating parker you might want to start at home because almost every hardcore brit boxing fan respects Parker.

Very fair and accurate comment. NZ casual fans are as bad as any, and the Brit boxing fans are typically all good as a you say - again I spelt out I was talking about casuals and they're the same where-ever they are.

Parker will only surprise me if he wins more than 2 rounds in 12 rounds.

Parker will only surprise me if he makes it to mid rounds IF Joshua is trying to finish it.

Parker will shock me if he lands any significant amount of punches on Joshua BC you have very overlooked counter puncher not so easily hit vs a very poor accurate one...who is.

All this adds up to what should be a 4th round stoppage.

Even should it end sooner it wouldn't change Parkers immediate ranking on MY list.

You build Joshua up as a Superman. A limited fighter such as Whyte has had him in serious trouble, so Parker can't be entirely written off.

I don't give Parker much chance but Joshua isn't flawless.
