Nowhere because nobody wants to see it. We saw Wlad Headvetkin and Headvetkin looked like he was in a car accident and brawl against 30 dudes with baseball bats after their fight.
I dont think joshua knows how to utilize his reach as well as wlad and cant see him doing wlads signature jab and grab
Povetkin has a good shot in this one! A lot of people will count him out but he has the skills to out box Joshua. Maybe even stop Anthony late.
Povetkin has yet to show anything without being on PED's. But in any case Joshua has no boxing skills just like Wilder. Joshua also can't take a punch. So it is possible Povetkin could stop AJ early.
Povetkin self admits bigger guys trouble him....so that's all that needs to be said. Joshua batters him, he will also have Takam in all likleyhood as a sparring partner if he's smart for Povetkin. Because of similar stature and pressure fighter will have AJ properly prepared for a much shorter opponent this time around.
Joshua who fought Takam would have lost to Povetkin. He was gassed and got a lot of questionable breaks when it appeared the tide may have beginning to turn - If Takam had Povetkins power things probably wouldn't have ended well for Joshua. However if he comes in light he'd be favored to beat Povetkin although not by a whole lot(60/40)
He wouldn't need to employ a jab and grab style as he can fight on the inside unlike Wlad. I think povetkin would be competitive but now he stands in front of opponents too much doing nothing, he'll get punished badly on the way in and Joshua's uppercut is going to eventually get him.
Povetkin has all the skills and pedigree needed to upset Joshua although he will likely need the KO which might be a tall order.
Joshua serves Povetkin up good n proper and doesn't need a bear hug or illegal grapple to do it either. Right now it would be a non-competitive blow out. Vetkin 4 years ago might run him close kinda like Mercer vs Lewis
Well to be fair Joshua has decent skills and proved he can go through heavy fire to win fights. Wlad cracked him with some H-bombs and he survived. But that was a 41 year old 2 year rusty Wlad and if Povetkin comes in shape and ready.. he has a good chance.
Problem is joshua will age him another year or tow and UKAD will be up his ass while Joshua's........Not so much!
Lol...By what evidence ? Winning every round. Tide beginning to turn???? Takam was going out in 10/12 and didn't win any rounds..... I' ll remind everyone on here Takam has great slip and rolling with Punches as defense than straight forward Povetkin limited head movement and stationary foot placement as he pauses and dips before throwing punches close quarters...this will look like slow motion for a fast counter puncher. Take into the size difference... Povetkin will not win, he may sustain more damage in a longer fight that's about it. Povetkin gives it away just about everytime hes setting up for a power punch...watch him pause and crouch then throws...he does not do this simultaneous movements much its two steps...A FLAW that will give Joshua a field day here. You guys can also ignore Takam was lucky in the 4th but the reality is Joshua will batter guys like Povetkin or Takam who again is harder to land cleanly on.
Right Wlad landed one half way decent punch and almost knocked AJ out. If you think that right hand was close to being Wlad's best punch then maybe you need to stop watching boxing. AJ is slow and plodding with no real technique. His best win came against a 98 year old timid Wlad. Povetkin has more skill than AJ but is a roid head. Without roids he has no real power. But I don't know how much power you need to hurt china chin AJ. Which is why Alexanxder still has a change to beat Joshua.
Not sure what you're talking about as Povetkin can clearly slip punches and moves fine. Fact is he's similar enough to cause Joshua some of the same problems Takam did and then some especially if the fight goes into the mid-late rounds and Joshua is heavy. I know one thing... Joshua is thankful that Takam didn't have more power when he gassed out. Also. Pretty sure you pointed out the fact that Wilder got a questionable breather at the start of round 8 when the ref had the doctors look at him, why pretend that Joshua didn't have the same privilege only 2-3 times instead of once? Your hero is not as unbeatable as you think he is.
