Awful lot of respect from some posters here for these Mandos for plastic belts. As for this preposterous “number one”. Pulev would be obliterated by up and comers like Dubois, Hrgovic and ground down by Joyce, in my opinion.
To be fair the vast majority of this forum predicted another young fighter would beat him in Hughie Fury ( I predicted that Pulev would win).
The 'Skirt' lost popularity on this forum after the Parker fight - not many had him down for beating Pudding Pulev at the time.
Another top name to add to Joshua's resume. When he retires he might not have won them all but he will have boxed the very best of his era. Unlike bum boys wilder and fury.
in all fairness he was supposed to have his last final eliminator against Whyte he turned it down then miller who also turned it down so then it was him against fury. but I do agree it’s a joke that pulev wormed his way into in first place I do agree to shoot up the rankings it shouldn’t be number of fights won but level of opponents beaten. pulev has basically just stuck around long enough taking non risky fights since he lost to wlad and by virtue of others losing or other winning titles has consistently stayed high up rankings.
I had pudding that night as have never seen anything in The Skirt to suggest he goes above British level.
Come on there are still a lot of posters backing Hughie. "He is only 25" Hughie Fury was a favourite against Poolev going into the fight for many. So surely a convincing win against a future world chumpion like Hughie demands some respect. After all, Hughie is only 25 and will improve and be world chumpion one day. Surely Poolev has earned his shot here.
Pulev is better than Ortiz, has beaten better fighters. But yet Ortiz was a great opponent for Wilder and Pulev sucks for Joshua lol
Fury beat that Ukranian guy in Germany. The one who'd battered Pulev and had been world champion for nearly a decade.
For a guy who’s had 24 fights as well. Wilder’s best win after 24 fights was probably Owen Beck and that guy had lost ten fights.
