Great learning fight for Joshua. Suspected broken nose in Round 2 and still dominated the fight. Had to adjust to fighting a smaller man last minute just another tick crossed in his career now. Not his greatest performance i dont think he was 100% motivated by the change of opponent etc but ive got no issues with what i saw from AJ tonight, came in alot heavier than i think he usually would if it was a Parker or Wilder fight. Perfect night for AJ for me massive learning curve it all helps the progress of his career. People have come to expect Joshua just demolishing people. Takam is a very game competitor with a solid chin. Takam was in tremendous shape hes been preparing alot longer than 12 days for this. Probably would of seen the final bell if allowed to continue but regardless, the win streak was continuing. Only one winner, never in doubt. Let the AJ haters hate on how hes been "exposed". Had a pretty poor performance by his standards and still never looked like losing. Thats what true champions do, win even when they are having a off night. This fight shouldnt be about AJ being terrible, it should be crediting how tough Takam is. Anyway AJ still on top of the world, enjoy it Wilder & fury fans.
