Joshua vs Usyk possible for april

Unfortunately this is just more posturing by Hearn, he's trying to show Wilder that he's got other options for next year.

 

AJ would stop Usyk, size and power matter when the big boys get it on. However I dont see him giving someone like a Usyk a shot unless he becomes a mandatory.

 

Usyk vs Bellew would be more interesting at this point. Joshua too big, let Usky test himself against a top non-giant HW first.

 

Everybody dismissing Usyk’s power are too funny. Especially when talking about Joshua who has never been Tex Cobb in the chin department.

Usyk will get the stoppage over a gassed and beaten Joshua in the later rounds.

 

Usyk needs to test the waters first, I had pegged this fight for 2020. Bellew isn't even a legit HW, so all that is is a "gateway" fight. I was thinking his road to Joshua would go something like this:

1. Bellew
2. Jennings or Ruiz/someone from 8-15 preferably a former title challenger, maybe also Kabayel
3. Povetkin, Charr, or Parker (former belt holders, Usyk I think easily handles all of them and probably stops Charr)
4. Step up fight against Whyte/Miller/Breazeale (all are oversized plodders who Usyk will toy with unless he gets caught somehow)
5. Joshua

 

100% Hearn will serve up Whyte II if Femi beats Sasha.

 

Usyk should acclimatize to HW first imo

 

Let Usyk fight Christian Hammer or Adamek as a quick tune up first then take on top 10.

 

I'm going to be praying to the God of Irony and the Goddess of Counting Unhatched Chickens that Joshua loses before the Wilder fight. To somebody like, oh, I don't know, POVETKIN, maybe? I'd be even happier to see Pov wipe the floor with Wilder too.

 

If you believe some folk on here Usyk is that good he could have a warm up fight against bellew then have a couple hours nap then take the belts from Joshua on the same night.

Usyk needs an adjustment period. Be Bellew I suspect then maybe a Chisora or a Takam type..

 

I'm with you on the whole favouring AJ and his size here but in what world is Usyk ugly? Outrageous!
Yesterday while reviewing the Gassiev schooling my girlfriend (who is hot af ftr) passed by and after glancing at the screen started asking endless questions about Usyk with a look of wild hunger in her eyes, don't let the gapped tooth fool you Oleksandr Usyk is the epitome of a charismatic stud with the physique of an adonis.

Usyk has to fight bellew and his performance in that fight will tell us everything we need to know.

Very tough and dangerous fight for both but still needs to happen

 

Why is nobody questioning who Wilder fights next?
