Hmm? I have to say Rummy that your video has reawakened my interest in this fight. I think as you said both have slipped but I think Whyte has slipped physically. I thought he looked slow and sluggish against Franklin while Joshua sure doesn't look near the fighter he was vs Whyte in their 1st fight but physically I don't think there's anything wrong with AJ. So neither is near what they were, who wins? I don't think Joshua will press the gas and go for the KO and put himself in harms way. My prediction: Joshua by UD 97-93... but as Rummy says what the %$# do I know.
Whyte has to pull something special out of the bag to beat AJ....when I special I mean, clipping AJ before AJ clips him. Maybe Whyte should try just bumrushing him.
Good video. Crazy how much leaner they both were in their first fight though I guess 8 years is a long time. Your point about doing "what it takes to win" has me wondering if sports and games in general trend towards becoming less entertaining the more advanced the strategy becomes. Look at baseball or chess or poker or boxing. The more figured out the "optimal strategy" becomes, the less exciting the resulting games are for the spectator.
