Sorry, mate, but Parker lets his hands go even less now. The Wilder and Zhang fights were pitiful for punch out put.

I checked some of his fights for total punches thrown and the stats prove it:

    Wilder 255
    Zhang 349
    AJ 492
    Joyce 566
    Chisora I 593
    Chisora II 464
    Takam 534
    Fa 349
    Ruiz 560

Fair enough the resurgent Joey 12 alive and kicking - must be the even less output from opponents doing my eyes.

Ex Army Jim is legendary .
It's rumoured that before Chuck Norris goes to sleep, he checks under his bed to make sure Jim isn't lying in wait !!

Excellent this is what I was saying but no clue where to get these statistics. Look at that. 255 and 349 against two old men.

This fight makes sense for both in monetary terms.

I thought they were the 'paint dry Parker' days?

They'll probably have him in bubble wrap during the fight.

I'm surprised they didn't line up the Mexican mascot for a return bout.

Rented a property in Doncaster off a certain Dave Allen if memory serves me right?

The mascot probably has a chance of beating this version of Wilder.

I'm not arguing that it was a good era just that Whyte was one of the top contenders in the era.

I don’t think people are accepting how washed Whyte is, AJ is done but he would knock Whyte out in a few rounds. That old African road sweeper gave Whyte all he could handle, he’s always been a plodder but now he’s even slower, easier to hit and his chin has been cracked.

Yet his performance at Wembley v Fury was more like a novice contender for Dancing on Ice.
